About Dr Jane-Claire Sconce
Dr J-C Sconce is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where she works across the General Paediatric Team, the High Dependency Unit and the Safeguarding Team. She has been a consultant for over ten years and has previously served as Clinical Lead for both the High Dependency and Safeguarding services.
Dr Sconce has extensive expertise in the full range of general paediatric conditions, including headaches, asthma and wheeze, abdominal pain, constipation, continence difficulties and urinary tract infections. Her practice is grounded in a holistic, child-centred approach, ensuring that every child and family feels listened to, supported and understood.
She completed her paediatric training across several major centres, including Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol, gaining broad clinical experience that informs her thoughtful and thorough approach to care.
