Dr. Andrew Badcock is reassuring and thorough with patients. He listens to concerns, ensuring families understand medical information and proposed plans. He demonstrates expertise in conditions like asthma, chronic viral wheeze, recurrent fever, and infant feeding, often using allergy tests for precise diagnoses and clear treatments. Patients frequently highlight his positive guidance on child development.
Dr. Babcock has provided exceptional care for our five-year-old son throughout his journey with chronic viral wheeze. From our very first appointment, he guided us through every stage with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. He took the time to explain the medical information clearly, sharing the evidence and rationale behind each decision in a way that was easy to understand and reassuring as parents. We always felt informed, listened to, and involved in our son’s care. Thanks to his expertise, thoughtful approach, and ongoing support, our son is now in a much better place health-wise. We are incredibly grateful for the care and attention he has shown our family and would recommend him without hesitation.
Dr Badcock has been great throughout my sons visits. He engages well with him and our son has never worried about coming back to see him. He gives thorough explanations to us as parents. He has worked through our son’s asthma and got him to stage of discharge. He assessed him well and undertook allergy tests to see what may be triggering it. We have always been very happy with the our appointments and would highly recommend.
Dr Badcock was very friendly throughout our consultation. He was easy to communicate with and felt fully informed once the appointment has finished.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I am glad that you felt heard in your concerns, and also felt well informed. This is what I always aim to achieve, so am very glad that you felt this in my clinic.
Met with Dr Andy Badcock for the first time today with my older teenager for asthma review. My daughter has a long medical history which he listened to with patience and interest. He had a very friendly manner and his style of communication with my daughter was good. She has met a number of paediatricians over the years and is not always keen to speak up but was comfortable asking questions of him. Agreed to some blood tests and they were carried out quickly with no hanging around. We came away from the appointment feeling optimistic that Dr Badcock had come up with a diagnosis and a better management plan than we have at the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this detailed positive feedback. I am very pleased that your teenage daughter felt listened to and comfortable to ask questions of me. I am pleased that it made you feel optimistic and gave you a better management plan. This is what I aim to achieve for every patient I see, whatever their age.
Saw Dr Badcock for my daughter’s recurrent fever issues. He listened to us, acknowledged every details, examined her thoroughly, and explained all the possible reasons which he ruled out behind her illness in depth and detail. Management discussion was thorough and as per the situation’s need. It was really reassuring and satisfying for us parents.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give this lovely feedback. I am really pleased that you felt listened to, that you felt the consultation was thorough and that the appointment was everything you needed at this time.
We didn’t feel our issues were addressed. We were hoping to get a prescription for melatonin but he said he didn’t think it would work. Whilst we appreciate professional opinion, advising a neurodivergent person to have a shower before bed when the very idea of a shower causes anxiety and stress is quite ridiculous. For us it was a waste of time and money.

Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback. I am sorry that you are experiencing significant challenges with your sleep. I am also sorry that the outcome of our appointment was not what you wanted it to be. I acknowledge that a warm shower or bath is not a relaxing or calming experience for all people, whether they are neurodivergent or not. Hopefully all of the other advice, suggestions, options and resources that I provided you with have been helpful in some way. I am skilled at being able to provide pragmatic, real-world solutions for the very real challenges that children and young people face, but I cannot expose children and young people to medicines or other treatments that are extremely unlikely to work in the specific circumstances, and would still expose them to the potential side effects. I do hope that things have improved for you all since we met.
My daughter felt listened to and reassured that her symptoms are not serious. But also not stress related or nothing to be dismissed without diagnosis.

Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback. I am really pleased that your daughter felt heard and taken seriously for her symptoms.
