Dr. Rofena is not only an excellent doctor but also a genuine person, with a lot of experience and empathy. He has helped us during our IVF journey, we are now pregnant with our 2nd baby and couldn't be happier.

Words cannot express how thankful we both are to Dr. Rofena for all his support throughout our journey. Her professionalism, compassion, and genuine care go beyond anything I have experienced before. His bedside manner is truly impeccable. We went from receiving what felt like a hopeless prognosis from a clinic in our home country to meeting Dr. Rofena who was willing to take on a difficult case like ours and never made us feel that hope was lost. A very special thank you to Dr. Rofena for believing in us, for giving us the opportunity to keep fighting, and most importantly, for giving us hope when we had almost lost it. We feel so lucky to have been recommended Dr Simone Rofena who is very popular in Malta as he has helped many other couples from our country to have a baby. We were told we could not have children with our condition and that we should have considered egg donation as the only option for us. Dr Rofena examined our situation and previous failed attempts (we had 8 between Malta and other clinics in the UK) and he developed a particular treatment protocol which we never had before and was particularly designed to help with the specific issue we had. I was recommended Dr. Rofena by a friend who had a similar journey to us. We experienced 2 natural miscarriages and 4 IVF failures before seeing Dr.Rofena and honestly we were about to give up and to consider egg donation. Dr Rofena gave us a very thorough consultation to start with, analysing all our history and previous tests results. he then recommended some immune investigations and follwoing the results, a bespoke immune modulation treatment plan. His kindness and professionalism throughout the whole process were exceptional and we could have not felt more supported. As a result, not only we were pregnant after first IVF attempt with him but for the first time we managed to overcome 12 weeks and we are actually at 25 weeks and waiting for a baby boy! I am Maltese, and I went to a private clinic in Malta where, after three egg stimulation cycles that yielded no embryos for transfer, I was told that I would not be able to have a biological child. Dr. Simone managed to give me embryos for transfer, and now I am pregnant!

We had struggled for 6 years and had numerous IVF cycles, countless transfers, and sadly some miscarriages, before we saw Dr Simone. We couldn’t understand why things were not happening for us.
