About Mr Giulio Garaffa
Mr Giulio Garaffa is a highly experienced, award-winning Consultant Uro-Andrologist with over 20 years of international medical expertise. He is one of the leading experts in the field of erectile dysfunction, complex penile reconstruction, Peyronie's disease, male infertility and microsurgery and is globally known for his excellence.
Born in Trieste, he went on to graduate with honours at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Trieste. Following his urological training, he completed a 3-year fellowship in Andrology and Reconstruction of the male urogenital tract at the Institute of Urology, University College London Hospitals. This is a world-leading centre for Andrology and Urethral Surgery.
Currently, Giulio works as a Locum Consultant Uro-Andrologist at the Whittington Hospital, London.
Following his research work into male infertility, Giulio was awarded a PhD by the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. His active involvement in the field of research is reflected by the number of papers, articles and book chapters he has written. His work is regarded highly in his field and he received numerous prestigious awards for it. He regularly lectures and performs live surgery all over the world.
