Mr Lamb carried out my prostatectomy in may this year. At my first consultation he provided me and my wife details of the procedure, the risks and what the future may entail. He was very professional and reassuring during what was a difficult time On the morning of my operation he again explained what was going to happen during the procedure and explained about the possibility of nerve damage and nerve saving I am pleased to say my procedure went very well and some three months later I am fully recovered and have no issues with incontinence etc I can’t thank him enough

Ben Lamb was exemplary in every way. All pre and post operation questions were answered thoroughly in an unhurried manner. My TURP and bladder stone removal op was successful, and I knew exactly what to expect ref immediate post op pain. Highly recommended.

He was very understanding of my problem, and happy to discuss a number of possible lifestyle and medication-related solutions. His bedside manner was good and I did not feel uncomfortable with the examination at all.

I was referred by my GP to Mr. Lamb at Addenbrooke's as a result of a raised PSA test. A further consultation following an MRI resulted in a CT and biopsy, with the conclusion being that a Robot Assisted Radical Prostatectomy was the optimal treatment. Everything went extraordinarily well with the surgery, and my post-operative recovery has been spectacularly good. Throughout the whole experience Mr. Lamb was highly professional, informative, reassuring, and above all approachable and humane.
