Dr Venkatesh Subramanian is a highly esteemed Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specialising in reproductive medicine, at King's College Hospital and King's Fertility. He is also the clinical lead for hysteroscopy at King's College Hospital and the regional preceptor for hysteroscopy training. Dr Subramanian is also an honorary senior lecturer at King's College London.
Dr Subramanian completed his medical degree at University of Nottingham in 2010, followed by his training in the renowned South London rotation, which included prestigious institutions such as King's College Hospital and Guy's Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital. During his training, he became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in recognition of his proficiency in the medical and surgical management of infertility, complications of early pregnancy, and hysteroscopic surgery. He also holds an MPhil in reproductive surgical simulation.
Dr Subramanian later completed a senior clinical fellowship in reproductive medicine at King's Fertility. During this fellowship he developed advanced skills in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, including egg collection, intrauterine insemination and embryo transfer. His exceptional competence in the field led to independent accreditation of his skills and expertise by the British Fertility Society.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Subramanian is an active academic and clinical researcher. His research has been published in esteemed journals such as the British Medical Journal (BMJ), BJOG (British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology), and Human Reproduction. In addition, he has presented his work at conferences both nationally and internationally, winning several prizes for his contributions.
Beyond his clinical and research expertise, Dr Subramanian remains actively engaged in audit, training, and medical education. His commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge and sharing his expertise ensures that he continuously contributes to the growth and development of the medical community.

From the moment I walked into his office, I was greeted with utmost respect and kindness. He took the time to listen attentively to all my concerns and medical history, demonstrating genuine patience and empathy. What impressed me the most was how he tailored a treatment plan specifically to my needs, taking into account all the nuances of my situation. He was thorough in explaining the potential risks associated with the treatment, ensuring I had a realistic understanding of what to expect. Dr Venki is highly skilled and professional, he is an expert in his field of hysteroscopy, polypectomy for polpys on the womb linning and fertility. I have had a polypectomy carried out by Dr Venki as a private treatment, it went very successfully and little pain. He is very knowledgeable, also very personable and puts you at ease.

Dr Venki is a kind, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He spent a long time with me, listening to my issues to understand the problem. He then scanned me and explained really well in a way that I could fully understand what the cause of my symptoms was and how we could manage it.
