What truly stood out was the profound care and concern shown for my well-being. The doctor took the time to listen intently to my concerns, asked detailed questions to fully understand my condition, and explained everything with clarity and compassion, making me feel genuinely heard and valued. This attention to detail was evident throughout the entire visit; every aspect, from the thorough examination to the clear explanation of the diagnosis and treatment plan, was handled with meticulous care and precision. This experience exemplifies why this practice is an exceptional asset to the NHS, demonstrating how high-quality, patient-centered care can be delivered with excellence and integrity.

A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

I am currently undergoing treatment at Bourn Hall. At every single step the members of staff have exhibited amazing customer service. Every single nurse, receptionist, doctor, anaesthetist, embryologist, pharmacist and everyone there has been respectful, kind, gentle, reassuring, calm and knowledgeable. In particular, Nurse Dawn at Cambridge has gone above and beyond to support me as an autistic patient. She has patiently answered all my questions, made adjustments for my comfort, and reassured me over and over again. She even popped my teddy from my bag onto my bed for me when I was recovering from general anaesthetic which was so touching and thoughtful. I am also particularly thankful to the embryologist team who also have found ways to adhere to my special requests. I'm also thankful to the anaesthetist who held my hand as I fell asleep under general anaesthetic because I was so frightened. I cannot fault our experience at Bourn Hall.

I am so grateful to Delamere for my 4-week stay. The facilities are truly incredible - comfortable, well-appointed and a palpable feeling of safety. The staff are such caring, friendly and interesting people - with the relevant experience to truly empathise and help with our unique circumstances. The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

She is an exceptional professional, highly knowledgeable, meticulous, and truly dedicated to her patients. Throughout the scan, she was incredibly thorough and explained every step with clarity and care, which made me feel completely at ease. Vera was recommended to me by an acquaintance whose life she quite literally saved by diagnosing a condition that others had overlooked. After my own experience, I fully understand why she is held in such high regard. I’m deeply grateful for her expertise and compassion and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking top quality care.

Dr zgan was brilliant explained everything. Think he got a shock knowing a already had an operation on nose. And told me what had happened with thst healing process. While attending Dr zgan I had other issues going on and held back surgery until the other stuff got sorted which I knew would happen. The next day after operation the nose and ear was back to normal. The feeling I had had gone thankfully. Even explained ager surgery what he dad to do. Must say Dr zygan is brilliant doctor. Thank you very much Dr zgan appreciate what you did for me. I was out at ease as soon as I walked through the door. I was quite nervous but all of my questions were answered and I was treated as a real person with feelings rather than just another person coming in for a ‘service’. My hesitations about the cooper coil vs the hormonal one were discussed thoroughly and I ended up making the opposite decision to what I originally thought as it was better suited to me! (Just shows you can do all the research you want but actually having a chat with a doctor will always win). I could t have asked for a better experience- thank you.

I was very stressed as I needed to complete my stress test for DVLA in time otherwise I would my driving license. I was waiting for an appointment in other hospital for over 6 weeks and got cancelled, hence my wife contacted Dr Khwanda’s secretary. We were very surprised to have received a call from him something you rarely see in the current NHS nowadays. He was very humble and down to earth. He listened and was very sympathetic. I was overbooked for an early morning slot and performed the test himself. I luckily got this completed. We are grateful for his help.

Dr Chronopoulou has been an incredible consultant for us as we underwent IVF stimulation and a frozen embryo transfer at CRGH Great Portland St Clinic (with which we are now pregnant after the first transfer). She went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for during the process and would highly recommend her to anyone! She also pointed out things to be about my overall health that were totally missed by my GP and hospital referrals over the years regarding my hormone deficiency impact on my bone health for which I am extremely grateful to her for.
