I started working with Emily earlier this year as I required some help regarding my SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), Emily was very helpful in first understanding what all of my symptoms have been so far, what treatments/tests I had already tried out and understanding important factors to my lifestyle too. Emily put together a plan month by month for me to try out different strategies at combatting my symptoms. Month by month we had a check in session to assess how I was getting along and any tweaks that needed to be made. Emily was amazing at pinpointing what she thought could be the best route for me and was effective at tailoring the plan as we went along to finally end up with a solution that helps me manage my symptoms a lot better than when I first began. I have seen specialist doctors and nutritionists in the past who were unfortunately not able to help me but Emily took a wider approach to looking at my issues and we were able to find a point where I am now feeling some relief from symptoms. I really recommend Emily's services and overall she is a very patient, caring and kind person to work with!

I recently had a laparoscopy with Mr Okaro and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. From the very beginning Mr Okaro was very professional,kind and took the time to explain everything clearly which immediately put me at ease with his knowledge and experience . I’m always so happy to go to Portland Place. I have checkups there on a regularly scheduled basis with Dr Potts-who is absolutely wonderful and is working with me to stabilize the NALD that I have had for over three years. My recent checkup was for bloodwork and MRI and I want to thank Dexter the phlebotomist who went the extra mile to call imaging to ask if he could put the cannula in so I would only have one arm prick-this is an exceedingly person centered approach to healthcare, and I wish that it could go straight across the healthcare system. The person centered approach puts the individual at the center and her team or his team communicate with one another, which is the optimum in healthcare so thank you Dexter for setting an example of person centered care when it comes to an individual and I also want to thank Cleveland Clinic London and Cleveland Clinic Ohio. You are my heroes.!!

It was my first visit to this practice in Edinburgh. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and Ashley was very professional and put me at ease and was very informative. The environment is very pleasant and inviting, unlike most dentist’s I have been to before and I am 72 years old. The treatment was great value and painless and I look forward to my next visit. Also the coffee in the waiting area was great.

As a regular visitor I am made welcome by staff, who are always helpful, albeit stretched in their work. Some days more stretched than others. I am content that my wife received good care although, I always want more, which I know is not possible within resource constraints. It is a heartbreaking place for may but the staff present a cheerful demeanor and seem to have time for all residents.

Above and beyond! I was not the most agile person on crutches, my partner dropped me at the door whilst he went to park. Getting me checked in and wheelchair was no issue at all. The nurse in Out Patients who removed my stitches was ki d caring and professional, checking on me all the time (allowing me to take photos !). Took time to fit my walking boot to make sure it was comfortable.
