I am really happy to have made the decision to visit Mr. David Griffiths. He listened to me without interruptions, asked me all the questions necessary to complete a full clinical history, examined me and provided solutions - exactly what should happen in every gynaecologist consultation, but unfortunately something I had not experienced before. Given my several previous bad experiences with gynaecologists, I was a little bit nervous during the visit, but Mr. Griffiths and his chaperon made me feel really comfortable.

I can’t speak highly enough of Mr Griffiths. I have been a patient for the last 8 months and underwent surgery and appointments with him. He explained everything very clearly and made sure that I was aware of the details of my diagnosis. He is extremely kind and made me feel very comfortable and well looked after. I cannot recommend him enough.

My recent visit was to receive the results of a pelvic ultrasound, discuss the outcome and discuss further options. Nothing untoward in respect of the pelvic scan. Benefiting from the topicalvaginal oestrogen presribed, but switching to Estriol cream. Discussed the ongoing problems I have with unauthorised surgery done during a bowl prolapse operation in 2013 using mesh. There are to many difficulties and dangers involved in removing the mesh. Am grateful to Mr Griffiths for the detailed information he has given me about this surgery and the reasons it would be very difficult and not wise to try and remove the mesh. He is the first Consultant who has done this and I have been trying to find out this information for 10 years. I now know what the real situation is and what my true options and possibilities are in dealing with my continuing problems. A successful outcome for me.

I was referred to Mr David Griffiths by friends in the UK that have previously been in his care or worked with him, I am currently in the USA. After looking at his bio, I was so impressed with what he has achieved and the work that he does I arranged to have a consultation via zoom. From the outset I felt his warmth and compassion, I immediately knew I was in very good hands. Mr Griffiths fully explained what I needed firsthand and then going forward with surgery, if that was what I decided to do. He welcomed any further questions or concerns I had afterwards by email which were always followed up immediately. I did go ahead with the surgery to have a permanent fix to my issue of which I am so thankful for. Mr Griffiths did an outstanding job, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending him.

Honestly I’m still not quite over how good an experience it was. It’s easy to park there, easy to find where you’re going and the staff are very very friendly! Overall 10/10 experience, but this experience stood out to me because of just how good Dr Griffiths was and how comfortable I felt (especially as a non-binary person seeking help for a women’s health issue). He was truly one of the kindest people I’ve spoken to about this! Would highly recommend for anyone, especially anyone non-binary, since he considered relevant things (like the fact that I quite like the sound of going on T) as he was giving me options for how we could move forward (meds, surgery, do I keep my ovaries, etc). Going to doctors about any women’s health issue before this has been nothing much more than a fight to validate my pain and get them to believe (for me and for many others, especially surrounding a Hysterectomy, the word is practically blasphemy in most GP offices). Dr Griffiths listened and took what I said on board, offering me the possibility to have a life-changing surgery I’ve probably needed for ten years. I will never be able to express how grateful I am for this opportunity to change my life for the better and just getting the chance has motivated me to be healthier and do better. Ladies and lads, keep pushing! And come to see Dr Griffiths, because he’s clearly a wonderful doctor who really knows his stuff! I learnt more in the appointment with him about Endometriosis than I have in my whole life having it… and I’ve seen a lot of doctors!

Overall my experience has been nothing but positive! It was the first time I had felt truly listened too and understood. Everything has been clearly communicated and if I needed further information afterwards it was provided with a calm and patient manner.
