Mr Rehman performed Multifocal Lens Replacement Surgery on both of my eyes earlier this year. This was complicated due to laser surgery 30 years ago, and I understand that not many surgeons would have agreed to do the procedure. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from Mr Rehman and his team. The surgery was a complete success and recovery smooth. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Rehman to anyone considering this type of procedure.

Mr Shafiq performed the procedure to replace my lenses with bi-focal implants. The whole process was very smooth and I was relaxed throughout. The operation was remarkably unobtrusive and I didn't even have any visible sign of redness in the my eyes the following day. I now have twenty twenty vision and have made a full recovery. I would recommend Mr Shafiq to anyone contemplating this procedure.

Initially, due to brexit 2 years ago there was no availability of a medicine I would have required in surgery (this was a nationwide issue for every eye clinic - I called them all to confirm). Other clinics I will not name either still offered me the surgery without this medication or simply said LASIK was the best choice for me (and it wasn’t due to my corneas being thin). Mr Shafiq at Optegra was the only honest surgeon who told me to not go ahead without this medication and urged me to wait so I did and now ive finally undergone the surgery and I am 3 months post opp! This has been the best decision I have made. I have gone with an honest surgeon at a reputable eye hospital and I could not have been happier.

Explained all the procedures in advance, and likewise on the day including during the procedure- so there were no surprises Net result - much improved eye sight!

He made the daunting prospect of having both lenses replaced at the same time a very reassuring experience with his confidence, skill and experience especially under unexpected circumstances. My eyesight is almost perfect now.
