My consultant Hugh O’Kane was so lovely excellent communication skills empathy and he listened to me , which some consultants would need to have a refresher course on dealing with patients. The anaesthetist ( sorry i can’t remember his name an Indian gentleman again so lovely) and the nurses in theatre were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the sedation was not great effect but got through. Recovery nurse Alex’s was very attentive & had a very caring way . Transferred to ward 3 Bernadette the nurse and Sinead & Sarah ( hopefully I have the correct names) all excellent A really lovely friendly member of the catering team Gillian came to see if I would like something to eat at that time I did not , but she Came k later to check & made the most delicious toasted sandwich. I had buzzed for the nurse as I was in a lot of pain behind my left knee she gave me liquid paracetamol, the pain got worse i asked for the compression stocking to be removed, the problem was that the stocking had not been pulled up straight and therefore it had “ marked my ankle very deeply “ with the result that the circulation would have been effected. My leg felt “Dead or asleep “ I felt afraid but the staff where lovely, Hugh came to see me around 8.30 pm had a conversation with my son in England and the plan was to stay (but before this they where happy to let me go home Kelly the manager came to speak to me as this was no fault of mine they I asked “in a scenario such as mine was there not a plan B in place “ to which she responded “0 yes and a plan b c & d “ ) So thankfully the outcome was resolved, I was to stay Hugh would see me in the morning. The night staff Keira & a girl called you I’m think the other health care assistant was Sharon hopefully this is correct but all excellent care. Hugh came in to see me just after 7am very attentive,examined my leg, I said that the pain was not as severe as the night before & I was happy to go home, “to which he replied if your happy so am I “ ( if only more consultants had his way ) he said I was not to worry re the financial situation re the over night stay Over all I am glad that we resolved the situation.

I am writing to formally complain about misleading advertising by the clinic Skin55. Their website led me to believe that laser treatments were available at the clinic, and I booked a consultation directly with the clinic, not with any specific doctor. However, upon attending the appointment, I was informed that the clinic did not have the required laser equipment and that not all doctors at Skin55 perform laser treatments. This discrepancy meant that I paid an initial consultation fee of £300, only to then be told that I would need to be referred to another doctor within the same clinic who does provide laser treatments. This second consultation was then quoted at £380. This sequence of events highlights a lack of transparency and constitutes misleading advertising, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. I believe that this matter warrants investigation to ensure that Skin55’s practices align with advertising and consumer-protection regulations. I am prepared to provide supporting documentation upon request

I cannot express enough my gratitude to the entire Nuffield team who looked after me during my hip replacement surgery. I was very apprehensive about the prospect of the surgery, after a very comprehensive Question and Answer open and honest conversation with Mr Anwar Jafri, i was happy to proceed. Prior to surgery I was in constant pain I was bent over and not in a good place. The surgery went excellent in my opinion and I am delighted with the results it has completely transformed my life. I have made excellent progress I am happy in myself and I am walking without crouching over and almost pain free. (6 weeks). I was in severe pain for a week, my pain management sorted everything out and very quickly. Now everybody recognises the change and I am walking and driving and confident in myself. My life has changed unbelievably for the better. I am forever in gratitude to Mr Anwar Jafri and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to anyone who has any reservations about having hip replacement surgery.

I signed up for CP&R almost 6 months ago and have never looked back. The service has been excellent, communication fast and efficient and both extremely professional and friendly at the same time. The CP&R staff are extremely well trained and experienced and very easy to get on with. Their support throughout my rehabilitation has been brilliant and I certainly wouldn't be in the position I am in now if it wasn't for the whole team. I have been able to call upon advice form the physio team and cardiac nurse and every time they have been very supportive and helpful. My coach, Chloe, has been with me every step of the way and has seen me through the good and bad times, her support and enthusiasm has been fantastic and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work during my rehabilitation. I cannot recommend CP&R enough and would urge everyone to look into their services, they have certainly aided my recovery beyond what I thought was possible.

She provides a fantastic service, where she brings great professionalism, expertise, attention to detail to the individual in front of her, and genuine care. Everything you'd want from someone overlooking your general health. With regards to my own health screening, the whole process was extensive but very smooth and I was quickly provided actionable outcomes. The overall clinic experience was great, the clinic staff were very welcoming and helpful and the clinic space was of high standard. As someone into their health and fitness, and as a practitioner in a different field of the health and wellness industry, I would highly recommend Deia Health and Dr Lafina.

I was seen by Dr Heggy and a lovely staff nurse Charlotte. Dr Heggy was fantastic he actually listened to me. He listened to exactly how I was and had been feeling. I'd been told by another Dr that there was nothing that could be done so I had to see someone for pain management. I'm in pain everyday and just wanted a resolution or at least pin point what could be wrong. Dr Heggy really made me feel heard and suggested other things before we gave up and just give me medication for my pain. Nurse Charlotte was fantastic. While Dr Heggy was looking things up and trying to find other options Charlotte spoke to me like an actual human. So thank you to Dr Heggy and nurse Charlotte for your time and patience with me. It's very much appreciated

My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

Couldn't fault any of the staff here, all very welcoming, comforting and professional, made me feel at ease at all times and nothing was too much trouble. I ended up with a few complications from my surgery due to my body not at all accepting the procedure and amount that had been done but the staff and my consultant Mr Harley were on top of it literally immediately. Due to not being a straight forward healer they insisted an open door policy at any time day or night if any concerns. The hospital is very very clean and all policies and procedures are followed to the tee. Honestly a brilliant experience all due to them!

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Mr Bailey for my longed for knee surgery. I’ve had two lateral partial knee replacements, one in January and one at the end of September. From my first appointments to my last Mr Bailey explained everything in a way that alleviated any worries I may have had. I was able to return to teaching pilates within 6 weeks of both ops. I can honestly say this surgery has given me back the active life I want to be living . I can highly recommend Mr Bailey and the whole team at The Nuffield.

Mr Jonathan Clarke has looked after me since I was diagnosed with glaucoma around eight years ago. He has since removed cataracts. He is calm and caring, always ready to spend as much time with you as is needed, and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In fact I have already recommended him to a friend whose vision was impaired by cataracts. She has now recommended Jonathan Clarke to her friends!

Took the time to fully understand and wouod totally recommend.

This is my third appointment with Mr Stapleton for treatment options regarding my ankles..I have found on all rounds of treatment that Mr Stapleton has provided that he has outlined clearly what to expect, what would be done and discussed options fully on each occasion. If I wasn't happy with the service he has previously provided at Benenden Hospital, I would not have returned for top up treatment from him.

I felt he conducted a thorough examination and provided a very comprehensive explanation of the diagnosis and treatment plan. The audiometrist was also very approachable and efficient, explaining each stage of the test and offering clear guidance. The entire process was managed very efficiently.
