Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy

Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), appointed in 2016. . He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery in 2015. He has a keen intertest in education and training and has successfully attained Masters in Higher Education (MEd)at University of Sheffield in 2015.

Mr Srinivasamurthy completed an Advanced Endovascular Fellowship at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2014, gaining expertise in endovascular aneurysm repair and minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins.

In 2015, he undertook an International Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Toronto, where he developed advanced skills in the management of peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, and complex venous conditions.

At UHCW, he has established a successful Thoracic outlet syndrome service and manages a broad range of vascular conditions using both open and endovascular techniques. His clinical interests include complex aneurysm repair, endovascular interventions for peripheral arterial disease, and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins.

He is committed to clinical governance, regularly submitting outcomes to the National Vascular Registry, and is actively involved in medical education, organising training sessions for students and junior doctors.
