Mr McLean and his team at both Gateshead QE and Grindon were incredible. Fortunately I have had little cause to engage previously with surgeons, but Mr McLean's bedside manner and his dealings with me were amazing at a time when I was frightened, bewildered and uncertain of my future. Excellent surgeon who put me completely at ease throughout the whole experience
For years, I contemplated breast enhancement and even attended a consultation before having children. I met with several surgeons, but from the moment I met Dr McLean, it was clear he was a cut above the rest. His knowledge and experience truly shone through, and his personal approach and guidance made the decision easy. The most daunting aspect wasn’t the surgery itself—I knew I was in safe hands—but the general anaesthetic, I had never been under anaesthesia before. However, I was thoroughly reassured by the anaesthetist and the entire team led by Dr McLean. They all provided a personal touch, which made a huge difference and gave me the reassurance I needed. Even though I had wanted this for years, it was still a big decision. The aftercare from Dr McLean has been nothing short of outstanding. He makes everything feel easy and straightforward, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and more importantly the result. I love my new additions and wished I met Dr McLean years ago! I’ll be forever grateful.
