I had a minor operation which developed an infection. I had three subsequent clean out operations. As soon as David H-B realised the knee was infected he immediately admitted me to the Fortius and took samples of the infection to get them to the lab asap to work out which anti biotics would prove most effective. He was out of the country for a few days but made surely absolutely everything was in place including two other consultant surgeons who did two clean out operations. A special mention to Dr Aweid who appears to me to be an exceptional consultant. David did my final clean out operation before I was discharged. I felt at ease through the whole process because of David's professionalism and experience. His communication throughout was fantastic he was always on hand to discuss where we were and the plans that were in place. I would also add the who medical and nursing staff were incredibly supportive throughout. I think the surgical skills of all the Fortius consultants will be exceptional. What stands out for me here Is that when the problem of an infection appeared David H-B dealt with it quickly and effectively and kept my mind at ease throughout.

After my atrial fibrillation (AFib) diagnosis, I booked an appointment with Dr Davies at the Park Hospital. He explained the treatment options: medication, a cardioversion (an electrical reset of the heart), or an ablation. His manner and experience are second to none. He helped me understand the options and I decided upon the RF ablation using the new state of the art facility at the Park. Dr Davies and his brilliant team carried out the procedure and the ITU aftercare team were equally impressive. I’m very pleased to say it went well and heart is now back in normal sinus rhythm, and I’m expected to make a full recovery. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Davies and everyone at the Park Hospital.

Zachary the audiologist was new to me, but every bit as likeable, knowledgable and engaged as every other audiologist I've had the pleasure to consult with at Harley St Hearing. He really listened to, and answered clearly and thoroughly to every question. He found a less mainstream solution ("Frequency Lowering or compression "), to a nuanced hearing issue I have, which he suggested we tried, and delighted to say it worked extremely well in my case. I can't recommend this practice enough!

I had been recommended by a friend to try physio at PhysioJack as they were very sports and strength and conditioning focused. I had a great experience from start to finish, and built my running up to now where I’m running 4 days a week. Nick also built me a Running Strength Plan to (hopefully) keep me injury free for the rest of my marathon block. I’d highly recommend PhysioJack for all injuries, especially those aiming for high level sports activities!

He took a thorough history and did a full examination before discussing his diagnosis and proposed treatment plan with me. I was confident of his medical expertise and really appreciated his manner. Very positive experience with Mr Matar from start to finish. Clear explanation about why hip replacement needed quite urgently, and what the operation entailed. Hip area operated on healed well with no problems, joint pain gone just muscular healing and building up, which is up to me now. I was pleasantly surprised about the efficiency of Newmedica Worcester. I had only used NHS services prior to my NHS Newmedica appointments for cataract removal on both eyes. I was seen very quickly after referral by Specsavers Malvern. Each appointment went flawlessly. I also had laser treatment in my right eye. All staff were friendly and professional and I am very grateful to be able to see clearly once more.

I was told to arrive for my sugery at 7am, to find the hospital closed. Staff were also waiting for the arrival of the receptionist (Daniel) I believe. By 7:15am a member of staff managed to get through on his phone where he advised he was stll 30mins away. This was unacceptable. It's stressful enough having surgery with out added nonsense.

I thought the care and the way the proceedure went smoothly was excellent. Please thank the staff Recovery has exceeded expectations, very little discomfort and no real need for pain relief. I was a bit concerned that because recovery was so good I might undo something !
