Dr Ernie Wong was excellent. He was warm, thoughtful, clear and funny, which immediately put me at ease. I came in with breathing symptoms that had previously been treated as asthma. Rather than just accepting that, he took the time to properly understand my history, ask the right questions, and review videos of my episodes. I really appreciated that he did not jump to conclusions or assume it was straightforward asthma. He explained what might be going on in a simple and reassuring way, using clear examples that made it easy to understand. He was also very methodical and laid out a clear step-by-step plan for testing, so we can rule things in or out properly. I left feeling much calmer, reassured, and confident that there is a sensible way forward. I felt listened to, taken seriously and very well cared for. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Ernie Wong was very professional and polite throughout my consultation. He took his time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood each step. He followed up immediately on the actions he said he would take, particularly arranging my referral to the respiratory vocal exercise group, which I really appreciate. I am still waiting to hear back regarding physiotherapy and I am not sure if this is through the community team or linked via my GP, as I have seen letters sent. Hopefully this will come through soon. He handled what was quite a shock diagnosis for me with care and sensitivity, and overall I found him to be a very kind and reassuring doctor.

Dr Wong was absolutely fantastic, having waited so long for an appointment all my worries were eradicated. His explanations were so helpful and in depth, I’m absolutely clear on the next steps going forward. I wish all my medical appointments were like the one I had today.
