Dr Richard Seah is a consultant in musculoskeletal and sports & exercise medicine at RNOH Stanmore. Dr Seah is interested in all aspects of musculoskeletal and sports injury, including acute traumatic injury, chronic overuse injury, and myofascial pain syndromes. He oversees all aspects of the management process, from diagnosis to rehabilitation and subsequent injury prevention.
Dr Seah qualified in medicine in 1999 at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospitals Medical School, University of London. He went on to gain his IABSEM diploma and a Master's degree in SEM with distinction in 2005. He then trained for 4 years as a London Deanery SEM speciality registrar and spent a further year as a senior registrar. He has trained for a total of 12 years in the NHS. He is an accredited specialist and generalist and is also a qualified musculoskeletal sonographer.
Dr Seah has previously been a sports medicine doctor at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has also worked with the English Institute of Sport, British Fencing, British Canoeing and Wheelchair Tennis. In addition, he was a medical officer for the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon for four years and the Wembley National Stadium event medical team for two years.

Open, friendly, took his time to explain the suspected diagnosis, discussed a plan of action, also described how diagnostics would help, carried out one set of diagnostics himself at my first appointment and then recommended further diagnostics & gave a clear outline of route to recovery, as well as acupuncture work at the time in order to provide some more immediate relief from my injury,
