He has extensive expertise in breast surgery, microsurgery, and perineal reconstruction, providing patients with care that is both compassionate and clinically advanced. Being GMC registered, Dr. Khashaba is committed to delivering safe and individualised treatment tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Khashaba began his career after earning his Medical degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo in 2004. He then earned his Master in Plastic Surgery from the same institution in 2008. Since then, he has worked in leading hospitals across Egypt, Kuwait, and the United Kingdom, gaining broad international experience in complex reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. His dedication to advancing the field is reflected in his contributions to medical research, clinical audits, and teaching, including presentations at international conferences and faculty roles in national training courses.
His professional qualifications include Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Wow!!! After feeling very apprehensive going into Durham University Hospital for a breast reduction l can honestly say the experience from start to finish was exceptional. Nurses were so friendly and the theatre nurse couldn’t have done more to reassure me about the procedure making me feel so calm. My surgeon Dr Haitham Khashaba was absolutely amazing. From my first meeting with him l felt l was in good hands. He is very professional with a bedside manner which made me feel more like a friend than a patient . Always has a smile and a very calming personality. Most important, my results are the best!! I am truly over the moon and couldn’t feel better. Has changed my life, wish l had done this 20 years ago.
