For me Dr Plymen has always communicated with other specialists involved in my care so that together they can make the correct treatment plan to benefit me. I personally thank Carla and all the consultants whose care I’m under. Imperial College medics have saved my life many times over, for which I’m eternally grateful. I had a very good time with Dr Carla.. she was very attentive and explained issues like a great doctor.. My husband and I told her is is very smart. She was very reassuring too. Would love to consult more with her in the future.
Dr Carla is excellent. She is warm and friendly and immediately put me as my ease. A good listener, she answered all my questions in easy to understand layman’s terms and readily proffered advice when sought. A few months prior to this visit I had had a telephone consultation with her and my experience was the same.
My consultation with Dr Carla Plymen was relaxed, informative and helpful. She gave clear details and responded positively to our questions. We’d been extremely concerned and although she clearly explained that the situation is serious this was done in a reassuring way and she made reasonable and realistic recommendations that we could follow and adopt, all of which helped us tremendously
Have built up a strong relationship over the years . Very helpful and informative appointment, didn’t feel rushed. She responded to questions clearly and encouraged my ongoing progress with a new health regime.

I led on work with patients, GPs, cardiologists, pharmacists and heart failure specialist nurses to transform our end-to-end heart failure pathway. Our objectives were: 1) Create a more integrated pathway across primary and secondary care 2) Reduce unplanned hospital admissions 3) Improve efficiency of the service so more time of specialists can be spent on clinical priorities 4) Improve patient experience and outcomes
