I had my third cardiac ablation this week at the Cromwell hospital. Dr Khan saw me beforehand and told me the strategy for the procedure. Afterwards he visited me to give me an update on how the operation went. So hopefully I will recover and not experience AF anymore.
Dr Ravi Assomull was wonderful in explaining things in non medical terms and putting me at ease. He has a very personable approach and gave me some good advice and tips on maintaining a good heart health. He is an expert in his field. Thank you 🙏

The scans made me feel like a piece of meat. I had one nurse telling my not to squeeze my left fist, while I was given the panic button and the other telling me to make a fist so she could insert the cannula. I had to ask them not to give instructions at the same time so I could follow them. I also had terrible bruising for ten days: my inner elbow was black and blue, worse than any other time I've had this done.
