I had my surgery performed 4 weeks ago, at Spire St Anthony's Hospital, by Mr Ian Hunt. On the afternoon of the surgery date, he went through everything and confirmed a few things. I was extremely nervous and I worked myself up before the surgery. Mr Hunt and his anaesthetist, Dr Dassen Ragavan really reassured me and put me at ease. Mr Hunt is very much needed in this world., he is an absolute treasure. When I was in the recovery room after surgery, he visited my wife and daughter, and let them know that it was successful and everything went well. When I was back in my room, he visited us again and explained what happened. Even though it was a very stressful day for him, he was still smiling. He visited me every day during my stay. I am so grateful to be one of his patients and I await having my left side operated on by him for my slipping rib syndrome. Thank you so, so much.

My experience with Mr. David Lawrence may be described as nothing short of FIVE STAR PLUS. From the beginning, Mr. Lawrence has been hugely approachable, friendly and reassuring; he gave me all the information I wanted/needed to know about my surgery and engendered in me a feeling of complete confidence that I was definitely in the safest of hands. Shortly before my surgery, Mr. Lawrence came to see me and although I was very nervous by then, never having had an operation in my life, he managed to make me feel a little more at ease, it was just somehow reassuring to have those few words with him. This was my first appointment with Professor Rajani and it was conducted by telephone. Before my consultation, I had sent over a couple of recent echocardiogram reports as well as some blood and urine test results. This helped form the basis of my consultation. Professor Rajani has an easy-going manner and gave me his professional advice regarding his observations on the reports. I felt very reassured by our discussion and there is no need for me to have a follow-up appointment at this time.

Good Benenden experience bar not getting hernia repaired. wonder if I’m just a nervous patient & wait plus patient in theatre emergency put me in fight or flight AR normal to 209. Ambulance to W Harvey, monitored and drugs corrected pulse , home 11.30pm. Been back to W Harvey for check up found me ok. Hospital asking my dr surgery to fit a 24 hr monitor. I now wear an Apple Watch and haven’t had an abnormal pulse since op day.

Firstly before my FTKR he removed a large plate that had been in my leg for the past 16yrs that went from hip to past my knee, Then once this was healed proceeded with a FTKR.
