Scott Lang is a Physiotherapist at ESP Physiotherapy who brings a unique and diverse professional background to his clinical practice. Originally trained in Computer Application Development, Scott later chose to retrain in healthcare, completing further study with the Open University before graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2022. His varied career path reflects his strong analytical skills, adaptability, and commitment to continual development.
Scott combines evidence-based assessment with practical rehabilitation strategies to support patients in recovering from injury and returning to activity with confidence. Alongside his clinic work, he provides physiotherapy services to students at Dollar Academy, working closely with the rugby and hockey teams to ensure players are match-fit and prepared to compete. His experience in school sport allows him to support developing athletes through both injury management and performance preparation.
A keen sports enthusiast, Scott regularly follows MMA, NFL, and tennis. However, football remains his greatest passion. Whether playing or watching, he embraces the physical and tactical aspects of the game, which further informs his understanding of sport-related injury and performance.

Scott was great, he's super responsive and really helpful with honestly everything I bring to the session. It felt great to see an improvement in some of the glute work recommendations he made from back in February. Felt fantastic after my appointment/the day after, better than I have for a long while!
Scott always friendly and helpful always tells me to contact him if any reoccuring issues cause me to be in pain
Scott was very kind and patient with my elderly Mum. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
I went to see Scott about my lack of joint stability, due to my hypermobility, as it's started to become an issue when weightlifting. Scott put together a programme for me that addressed everything I needed and my weak points have improved a lot in a fairly short amount of time thanks to him. I'm in a much better place now with my joint stability and Scott was great throughout - very competent, friendly, and just made me feel well taken care of.
My recent visit was my last and my issue has been pretty much resolved - thanks to Scott!
Scott has been helping me for a couple of months now and always adjusts treatments as required. He always changes exercises when he feels we are progressing and generally has just been fantastic. Wish I had booked in with Scott sooner than I actually did as the difference he has made has been tremendous.
I attended esp for lower back pain, scott was amazing from the start, he explained everything that was happening after my first consultation which put me at ease, as i didnt know what to expect because i was in so much pain for a while, after some light exercises and massage i started to build my confidence again, he made a plan for me with the exercises inbetween sessions to carry on with at home, i feel a lot better and not in pain now like i was before, i would 100% recommend scott as he understood what i neededto get back on track and was very proffessional, thanks again to all the team at esp.
