Damien McCoy is a Physiotherapist at ESP Physio with a strong background in professional sport and performance environments. From 2018 to 2024, he was part of the medical team for Glasgow City FC’s professional women’s side, gaining extensive experience in elite sport, injury management, and return-to-play planning. His combined training enables him to blend hands-on clinical expertise with structured, evidence-based exercise prescription. In addition to his work in professional football, Damien has experience across a variety of gym settings, further strengthening his understanding of strength development, conditioning, and movement quality.
He is highly skilled in manual therapy techniques and dry needling, using these alongside tailored rehabilitation programmes to support recovery and enhance performance.
Damien is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and regain confidence in their bodies, whether they are returning to sport, recovering from surgery, or simply aiming to improve mobility and overall physical health.
