Professor Amarjit Anand receives praise for being knowledgeable, kind, and clear in explaining patient conditions. Patients experience significant relief and improved quality of life following various spinal procedures. These include successful balloon kyphoplasty for spinal fractures, microdiscectomy for disc prolapses, cervical nerve root injections, and sacroiliac joint fusion. The successful treatment of various spinal conditions often leads to significant restoration of mobility and substantial reduction of chronic pain.
Professor Ananad is most experienced and knowledgeable person who has helped his patients with encouraging to improve their health. Very cheerful and supportive doctor I have ever met.
He explained what might be going on to me so I could understand and arranged an MRI which I had the following day due to a cancellation.
I am very grateful to Mr Anand. i sustained three osteoporotic fractures in my spine after tripping on the pavement. I was in such severe pain. My local NHS hospital gave me painkillers and a corset, yet i was unable to move around because of such sharp pain in my spine for weeks. I met Mr Anand through the recommendation of my physiotherapist. Mr Anand performed a 3 level balloon kyphoplasty in my spine. The results have been quite dramatic. My pain settled very soon after the operation. I am now able to live my life again. Mr Anand took great care of me, very kind and the hospital staff were amazing.
Great guy, great surgeon. I had a large L4/5 disc prolapse since 2018. Mr Anand removed it with a microdiscectomy. i am now back playing tennis. Amazing!
I am delighted with the treatment i received from Mr Anand. Mr Anand treated me for my neck and arm pain which had been bothering me for an entire year. He performed a targeted cervical nerve root injection in my neck. My neck and arm pain settled with a few days. I am still pain-free 4 months on. A very knowledgeable consultant. He explained everything exceptionally well, in a very friendly and easy to understand manner. I would highly recommend Mr Anand.
I would like to truly thank Mr Anand for giving me back my life. I had been suffering with debilitating low back since 1994 after by hit by a car. I was told that I had a degenerative back with facet disease. I had seen 3 previous spinal consultants over the last 25 years, pain specialists, numerous physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths. I had been given various injections and denervation procedures, yet my life was on halt due to the severe pain. I was finally introduced to Mr Anand through a friend that Mr Anand had previously treated. He was very kind and listened to my long pain history. I felt reassured having met him. After organising a MRI and a SPECT scan, Mr Anand felt that some of my pain was coming from my sacroiliac joint. After performing a diagnostic injection, he later went on to perform a minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion. It is now 6 months since i underwent this operation with Mr Anand. I can honestly say that my whole life has changed for the better. I am just so pleased. I no longer have that intrusive pain or giving out feeling in my back. I have stopped using morphine patches. I am now able sit and sleep without pain. I am just so thankful and glad to have met this amazing man.
I underwent a microdiscectomy by Mr Anand. The operation was a complete success. My low back and leg pain settled post-op. After suffering so much for 3 years, i wish i had met Mr Anand sooner. A very pleasant man, kind and explains quite complex issues very simply. I was very impressed by him and his staff.
Very professional and clear
I saw Mr Amarjit Anand. He was knowledgeable and personable, and able to explain my conditions clearly. I felt I was in capable hands from my initial consultation through to the operation itself, and therefore had no concerns prior to, during, or post the procedure.
