Overall, the journey for this process was simple. An initial visit to see what my eye sight was like and what procedures were available to me. I believe due to job related issues that I had to have LASEK. An appointment date was set up to have the procedure done. On the day. I arrived at location in HRI and was kindly directed by staff members to a closed off area of the wing where the equipment was, I was met by Mr Goel and two nurses who went over the procedure with again and explained everything that was going to happen in a simple way. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes and most of that was waiting for numbing drops to work. I didn’t feel a think when the actual procedure took place. After the procedure I have had multiple check ups, some with some hiccups due to the medication that was prescribed after but that was due to how my eyes were reacting to them. Steroid drops caused pressure issues in my eyes. After stopping using them I had no problems at all. I was off work for about a month with LASEK, although again, given a different job role could have probably gone back to work sooner. I’m now 6 months post surgery and my last eye check and appointment revealed that I have better than 20/20 vision now. Which I am buzzing about. The only issue I have with is some glare In the evening from car lights, but before the procedure I was informed that this is a minor side effect of it and tbh, I can deal with it and it very minor. Overall, Mr Goel and his assistant have been friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable in there field of work. I spent some time before the procedure mulling over different options but I can happily say that Mr Goel was the correct option. If you have any doubt about who to chose for this eye procedure / surgery. I would 100% recommend Mr Goel.

We opted for private care at UCLH because we wanted the birth experience to be as positive as possible. As a medically uncomplicated patient I felt that I may not receive much attention or time on an overstretched NHS ward. I also had some anxieties around birth (as a healthcare professional myself) and felt reassured to be receiving consultant-led care, from a clinician with whom I was able to build a trusting relationship. Shalini provided exceptional care from 32 weeks pregnancy and after delivery. She got to know me and my partner, and understood our priorities and concerns. I had previously found it hard to make decisions around birth. Shalini provided us with evidence, data and her experience - this empowered us to make our decisions. She spent a lot of time with us and brought great care, empathy and kindness to her practice, as well as her excellent clinical skills. When we had questions, fears or anxieties Shalini was able to reassure us, both with her kindness and her experience and expertise. The care she provides is holistic and individualised - she advocated for me in many ways and empowered me to advocate for myself too. We had an elective caesarean at 39 weeks. The surgery was pain free and crucially for me, I felt confident and safe - something that was not natural for me in approaching birth. Shalini was close at hand to care for us before and afterwards. I made an excellent recovery and have healed extremely well. I recommend Dr Shalni in the strongest terms to mothers and families looking for private care at UCLH. Shalini is passionate about obstetrics, her patients and practising medicine. It is a great privilege to be cared for by a clinician at the top of her field, who clearly cares deeply about her patients.

I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

Giacinto is by far one of London's most skilled aesthetic nurse practitioners. Having worked for a group of plastic surgeons in the past, I received my 1st ever botox & fillers treatment on my 50th b'day from a leading Consultant, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Ms Effie Katsarma. After I left the hospital/ industry, I was eager to find an aesthetic nurse practitioner who could maintain her high standard of work. My research eventually led me to Giacinto. I'm particularly fussy & wanted a medically qualified & skillful aesthetic nurse with a keen, creative eye. I knew instantly Giacinto was exceptional. He has been maintaining my ongoing botox requirements for approx the past 7/8 yrs. I've also recently had profilio & fillers for the 1st time at his Harley St practice. He never tries to upsell, is highly knowledgeable & always achieves a fantastic aesthetic result (no bruising!). He is an absolute pleasure to deal with, I trust him implicitly & wouldn't dream of going to anyone else... I highly recommend him.

I had my first appointment with Mr. Minas earlier this year after feeling dismissed by other consultants and GPs, and I immediately felt heard and at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly and welcomed any questions I had between appointments. His responsiveness was impressive; he promptly returned messages to discuss surgery plans and address any concerns, aand was open and honest. On the day of surgery, I experienced the usual nerves, but I felt completely confident in his expertise and skill. I’m truly grateful to have found him! During the post-operative follow-up, I felt comfortable discussing my recovery, and my partner joined me, sharing the same impression of Mr. Minas's personable approach and thorough explanations. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. After three years of struggling with other GPs and specialists, meeting Mr. Minas has transformed a long and challenging journey into a hopeful and positive outcome.

My experience from start to finish was brilliant. The information provided during consultation was detailed and all was clear on the approach to the operation. Upon arrival at Nuffield health the welcome was fantastic, everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. Any questions I had about the surgery were answered clearly and all processes were explained well prior to the operation. My operation went well and I was back home the same day. Mr.Dimitri explain there would be post op bruising and some pain, which were exactly right. I took his advice and kept asking mobile as I could without damaging myself, within a week began to stretch my leg and within two and half weeks I was back on the treadmill. I'm post op by about 8 weeks now and the scars are minimal. I hope I won't need it, but if I do need to go back for more surgery, I will be selecting Mr.Dimitri.

I saw alMr Farndon for issues with my knee and my ankle. The knee was some cartilage damage and my ankle was damage to a ligament. After MRIs and X-rays on both Mr Farndon was able to clearly explain the issue to me and options available to me. At no point did I feel pushed down any option and I felt my ambitions and lifestyle were always well understood. In the end we decided for surgery on both. Mr Farndon was very flexible and accommodating on dates and scheduling to minimise the time I'd be out of action but ensure I had suitable recovery between procedures. Since the surgery I feel stronger and more stable in both joints and able to get back to life as normal within less than 2 months which I find incredible! Mr Farndon never rushed any appointments and has a warm but devoutly professional manor that inspires confidence! I recommend him highly!

Two consultations with Mr Herzog were very satisfactory. He was clear about wanting to make his own mind up about my problems rather than relying at all on previous views from others. I found that very reassuring. After an MRI scan he was able to talk me through in detail about all the issues, pros and cons etc. and outline options for the future. He made clear what would probably happen without intervention - something no one else had done previously. That made it so much easier for me to go ahead with an operation. The surgery went forward very quickly and successfully. I saw Mr Herzog before the operation and twice afterwards. His concern for my wellbeing was very obvious. His manner was delightful, which helped me to have full confidence in him. I am delighted to have chosen him as my Consultant and would recommend him unreservedly to others.

I received warm, well informed professional attention throughout my care at St Anthony's Hospital; from outpatients through to discharge. The room was clean, well heated and ventilated, equipment checked and the armchairs comfortable. The unit was quiet. Nursing staff answered call bells promptly and with kindness and a smile. No request was considered a problem. Their level of knowledge and professionalism was excellent along with the standard of care. Physiotherapy care was also excellent and given with respect to my individual needs. Recovery staff were informative and reassuring. Excellent care there too. I include catering staff who also took care in their work. A few glitches with the electronics on the bed and the new bathroom which received prompt attention - the unit has been recently renovated.

Truly Exceptional After experiencing pain from my new hospital contact lenses I was able to book an appointment with Drew far sooner than my Hospital would see me. Drew very quickly determined that ill-fitting lenses were causing Conjunctival Prolapse and advised how best to proceed. Essentially the lenses used by my Hospital were not appropriate for my eyes and, since the Hospital will not use alternative lenses, Drew was able to fit and supply better lenses. These new contact lenses give excellent vision and comfort, even though I have a particular eye condition which makes it very difficult to fit contacts, despite lenses being the only solution for me. Thank you Drew and Team!

Ms Bakali is very approachable, informative, professional and so reassuring. She was very helpful with all my concerns and questions. Her bedside manner is very gentle, kind and calming - Which is needed when facing gynaecological issues. I feel so safe, well taken care of and very reassured with Ms Bakali. I cannot recommend Ms Bakali enough! I highly recommend! She’s the best Doctor.

Arrived at diagnostics centre and was just expecting a consultation with a further appointment for procedure was feel anxious but was made to feel welcomed and reassured by all receptionist was really pleasant as was my nurse Eileen I believe her name to be. I then met Mr Muen who was very polite, reassuring and empathetic. To my surprise my procedure was carried out within this appointment saving me further anxieties, travel and time. I was absolutely taken back by the complete professionalism of all at Kingsbridge Thank you from an extremely happy patient.

The doctor was really rude and unprofessional about other members of staff to me. He also didn't check that I'd received appropriate amount of anaesthetic before doing the procedure leaving me in an unacceptable amount of pain for which he didn't apologise or check to see if I was ok. He also tried to do the procedure on the wrong eye and after checking the eye he could see where I'd had a previous procedure and said, "At least I can see you're not lying". I do not want this awful man near me ever again.
