Excellent bedside manner with a true desire to get to the bottom of a problem. Free from the often occurring "I am so brilliant vibes" that I at times got from other consultants. Refreshing down to earth, approachable, very friendly. Most importantly, excellent listening skills, does not try to convenience you of a diagnosis after only hearing a quarter but appears to be thorough before making up his mind. Excellent communicator, who gets a patient fully involved, showing pictures to explain and explaining what he sees on a screen. I initially was a bit apprehensive thinking, hmmm has not got 3 decades of experience like some practitioners I saw in the past. On reflection, a good thing, still greatly motivated to make a difference and passionate about what he does. Deos not leave you feel watching the clock (he went over time, thank you) or rushed. Overall so far a positive experience (first consultation). I usually don't leave long feedbacks but if someone "goes the extra mile", so will I. Most importantly, if you had negative experiences before with consultants causing you pain/flare ups in the night and following day(s) due to handling you roughly during an examination, then give Dr Raiman a try. He very carefully moved my limbs with utmost consideration during the necessary examination, which helps building trust.

Mr Ankur Barua

I went to see Mr Barua for a laser eye surgery. I had been to see two other more well-known providers for consultations but this was the only consultation where I actually got to meet my surgeon and ask him questions directly. At my consultation Mr Barua was very thorough and knowledgeable and carefully explained all my options, as well as the pros and cons of each. I needed more time to decide whether to go ahead with surgery and Mr Barua was happy to let me take the time I needed, there was no hard sell or push to book in and he also offered me another consultation if I felt I needed it. His secretary Kate was also very helpful when I did have further questions and was happy to talk over various aspects of the procedure when I called back. I had my surgery done about 6 weeks later and I felt very safe in Mr Barua's hands and his team were great. The follow ups have been easy to schedule in and again the team have been very thorough. The healing and recovery have gone well without any issues and I am very glad I opted to have Mr Barua perform my surgery.

Mr Gill was very professional, kind in his manner and understood that my condition was affecting my quality of life as an active older person. He was very clear with his explanations as to the surgery he recommended and answered any questions that I had. I am now fully covered and getting back on with my busy life so overall I was very pleased with Mr Gill and his expertise. Ms Anderco has been a great help in dealing with a complex set of problems, a number of which are not strictly within her specialism. I came to her after waiting a significant amount of time in the NHS referral system with some worrying and hard to explain symptoms. While I don't have a definitive explanation for everything going on, I feel she has gone above and beyond to try and understand the problems, rule out any serious possible causes and assist my progress in the NHS system. Her efforts and explanations have been a great help in reassuring me while I wait for the next steps

Mr. Bell performed a micro discectomy after I had suffered chronic pain for a significant time. At a consultation prior to the procedure, he gave a clear and helpful explanation of what would happen and how I was likely to feel post op. Due to the nature of the procedure, I was pain free almost immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Bell, whose professionalism and obvious experience inspires confidence. He is also friendly and approachable and genuinely interested in his patients. The care I received at HCA London Bridge Hospital was also second to none.

I have suffered from droopy eyebrows for a number of years now and had a consultation with Ewa to discuss what could be done to correct this. Ewa explained the various options available to me and the advantages and disadvantages of each. I decided on the direct brow lift and I am amazed and delighted with the result. Lifting the brows has opened up my eyes and I no longer look tired but refreshed. Ewa took maticulous care over the finer details of the lift including the shape of the brows, which has made all the difference. Thank you.

He is very inclusive of patients wishes when it comes to medication and offers alternatives that can be sought. Mr Saravelos and his team made us feel at such ease for our Frozen Embryo Transfer. He was so patient and helped talk through the procedure in a way I could understand. He kept me calm through the procedure, which previously have been a really painful experience for him. The Nurse Raj was also great and helpful and managed to get all our prescriptions done before the transfer so we didn’t have to wait around. Really great time and brilliant experience.

It is a lovely, calm setting, always very clean, with friendly and welcoming staff, including the midwives, who made each visit enjoyable.
