Ms Strong recently undertook cataract surgery (both eyes) on my elderly mother. The whole process ran smoothly - before, during and after the surgery - and my mother has been delighted with the care (and compassion) provided.
Dr Strong helped me with my dry eyes. She gave me some new drops to try and put little plugs into my tear ducts (this took 30 seconds and was painless). My eyes feel much better now. She is also really nice.
I waited 18 months to have my eye operated on within the NHS and was given a normal lens. I went to Ms Strong to speed up my surgery waiting time. She operated on my 2nd eye and gave me a lens to help me see in the distance and up close. I didn’t think this would be possible as I had already had a normal lens in my other eye. But Ms Strong told me the pros and cons of having a normal lens in one eye and a multifocal in the other. I can now see so well and don’t need glasses at all. Ms Strong is absolutely fantastic and I just wish I had come to see her for my first eye.
Ms Strong explained all options open to me and answered all my queries completely. I found her manner to be highly professional yet warm and caring. All the necessary tests were conducted meaning there was no delay waiting with booking my procedure.
Dr Stacey Strong was very good from start to finish. I am hard of hearing and lip read. She was very patient with me and explained everything perfectly.
