Spire Bushey Hospital

Spire Bushey Hospital is a premium private hospital serving the people of Watford, North London and Hertfordshire. With a wide range of advanced treatments, the hospital is able to offer comprehensive private hospital services to all of their patients.

In 2009, the hospital underwent a £7 million investment programme which provided an upgraded state-of-the-art CT scanner, a fifth operating theatre, a new pathology laboratory, new X-ray equipment and an ophthalmic centre.

Later, in March 2014, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published their annual report on the hospital. On account of the former upgrades and their superb staff and continued medical care standards, an excerpt from the report read:

Spire Bushey Hospital was meeting the regulations we inspected. Patients were being cared for in a clean and well-maintained environment. Patient files contained detailed information about the person and their procedure and the provider had gained consent from people at each stage of the process. Staff, we spoke with and the records that we received also confirmed that staff were well supported to provide patients with a high level of care and support.
