Mr Mittal has been amazing throughout my visits at WGH. From June 2025 when he performed my hysteroscopy all the way through to my hysterectomy in June 2026. Mr Mittal has been amazing, kind and very informative. He has made me feel comfortable and confident in every step made.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mittal, who performed my surgery. From the initial consultation through to the operation. Dr. Mittal was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident and reassured throughout the process.

Dr Mittal talked through my concerns and symptoms in detail. He gave good eye contact whilst also working on his screen which made a real positive difference. He explained what he was doing as we went through the appointment, was knowledgable during physical examination and when discussing the issue identified, as well as understanding and believing of my pain levels, plus explained treatment options well. He quickly built a rapport with me, answered my questions clearly and happily, was personable and even made me smile at a very difficult time for me. The best experience I have had with a gynaecology consultant to date (I think I have seen 4/5 in the last year at clinics & during hospital admission). Thank you Dr Mittal! Mr Mittal has helped me tremendously. Prior to surgery, he listened to me, discussed options and then helped me weigh up the pros and cons of my complex medical history. Since my surgery, my pain has reduced significantly! He has been an excellent communicator throughout, answering all my many questions with patience and kindness. I cannot thank Mr Arvind Mittal enough for the care he gave me during what was one of the most frightening and upsetting days of my life. I attended hospital expecting a follow-up blood test and possibly methotrexate treatment for an ectopic pregnancy. Instead, I was diagnosed with a live ectopic pregnancy and told I required emergency surgery. As you can imagine, I was extremely distressed and overwhelmed. Mr Mittal was exceptional from the moment I met him. He was kind, compassionate, reassuring and took the time to listen to my concerns. What impressed me most was that he treated me as a person, not just another patient. He understood my anxieties and genuinely cared about making an incredibly difficult situation as manageable as possible. He clearly explained my options, discussed the findings with me in detail, and gave thoughtful advice regarding the removal of my second fallopian tube, taking into account my IVF journey and future fertility plans. I never felt rushed or dismissed. He also worked incredibly hard to ensure my surgery was performed much sooner than expected. Given that internal bleeding was found during the operation, I am extremely grateful for this. Following surgery, both Mr Mittal and his registrar came to check on me personally, which meant a great deal. Despite a very busy emergency workload, I felt cared for throughout. The operation was successful, and although I am now recovering physically and emotionally from the loss of a much-wanted pregnancy, I am very grateful that I was under the care of such a skilled and compassionate surgeon.
