Mr Buddhev is very kind and friendly and he always remembers things you told him last time
We feel very lucky to have Mr Buddhev as our son's consultant. He diagnosed our son, then 15, with scoliosis 18 months ago and has been absolutely fantastic. He recommended bracing immediately, which has worked better than we could ever have imagined - his cobb angle has reduced from 45 degrees to 33 out of brace, and now that he is fully grown the brace is no longer needed. Mr Buddhev is always so knowledgeable, friendly and supportive at every appointment. We are so incredibly grateful to him and would recommended him in a heart beat.
My son has been coming to Mr Buddhdev for 3 years and we are so grateful to have had him. He is personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable which always puts us at ease on our visits. He always explain things properly in a way we understand. Could not ask for more - he’s wonderful!
I could not recommend Mr Buddhdev enough! He answered every one of our questions with such confidence and put our mind at rest after my son broke his arm, The staff was great with both of my children when we had our appointments nothing was to much bother, feel very fortunate to be under his care.
I can not rate Mr Buddhdev enough for all his knowledge and advice for my daughters Scoliosis!
We recently attended an appointment with Dr Pranai Buddhdev for our son, who has complex needs, including autism, global developmental delay, and sensory processing disorder. As any parent of a child with additional needs will understand, it can be incredibly difficult to find a doctor who is not only knowledgeable but also kind, compassionate, patient, and thorough. Because our son is non-verbal, it can be especially challenging to understand what is causing him pain or discomfort. After several weeks of our son showing signs of pain in his ankles, developing an intermittent limp, and becoming increasingly unsettled and agitated, we knew it was time to seek specialist advice. We are very selective about who we trust with our son’s care, so we spent a considerable amount of time researching specialists before coming across Dr Buddhdev’s profile. His experience working with autistic children gave us confidence that he would be the right fit for our family. We contacted his secretary, Amy, on Monday, and she was wonderful from the very beginning. She was kind, calm, understanding, and incredibly helpful. She took all of our details and managed to arrange an appointment for the same week, on Thursday. We were so grateful to be seen so quickly, as we were naturally worried about what might be causing our son’s symptoms. We met Dr Buddhdev at Phoenix Hospital in Chelmsford, which is a lovely, welcoming facility. We weren’t waiting long before he invited us into his consultation room. From the moment we met him, Dr Buddhdev put us at ease. He was warm, calm, approachable, a...

We went to see Dr Buddhdev as my daughter who plays quite a lot of sport has been struggling with ankle pain for a few years. Dr Buddhdev took the time to understand her history and did a thorough assessment. He was really good at putting my daughter at ease by communicating with her in a fun and engaging manner. He explained to us the problem and the next steps very clearly. I was particular impressed with his team who sent regular reminders and were really helpful when I couldn’t get an MRI appointment with the hospital. Thank you so much.
Mr Buddhdev has been nothing but incredible towards my daughter and my family. He has shown an incredible amount of patience, respect and care. Mr Buddhdev ensured that we were fully informed and had an answer for every question that could have been asked of him. I felt supported, well informed and mostly I felt that my daughter was in the best and the safest hands.
Such a fantastic consultation. Clear in his explanation. Kind and personable. Knew his stuff! Glad we saw Mr Buddhdev.
I have known Pranai for many years now and he is a true champion for paediatric orthopaedics and the care of young people. He has fostered strong relationships with surgeons across the globe putting him at the cutting edge of the field and is actively involved in education, research and product development. His passion for the field cannot be understated and this reflects in the humanitarian and voluntary work that he also manages to fit into his busy schedule.
