had a right knee replacement with Mr. Sam Rajaratnam just over two weeks ago on 3rd November 2025, and what I had feared would be a difficult and painful operation turned out to be completely painless. Sam is extremely kind, patient and reassuring — perfect for someone as nervous as I was. I had delayed doing this surgery for a year and a half and even cancelled the operation twice before finally going through with it! Mr. Rajaratnam has built an outstanding team, including an exceptionally experienced anaesthetist, Dr. Barry Philips; a kind and highly competent nurse consultant, Ms. Christine Howis; and an excellent senior physiotherapist, Felicitas Gatti, who visits me at home to guide my post-operative exercises. I was also extremely impressed by all the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, who provided exceptional care throughout my stay. Whilst at the Cleveland, Sam visited me daily, and even came in today after my staples were removed to check on my progress. Mr. Rajaratnam’s expertise is evident—he has performed over 7,000 knee replacements—and the level of care and support I received was extraordinary. I was expecting a significant increase in pain once the stronger medication stopped a week after surgery, but to my surprise, I remained completely pain-free. I am extremely grateful to Sam and his wonderful team. I’ll be back for my other knee as soon as I’m up and running again!

When I had my first appointment with Mr Paluzzi - he was the first person who took my Trigeminal Neuralgia seriously - he understood I . he knew how the excruciating pain and the side effects of the meds were negatively impact ing my quality of life I had struggled with excruciating facial pain and shooting electric shock sensations in my cheek, jaw and around my ear for 5 years . I had pain on eating - brushing my hair - touching my face - cleaning my teeth . It could last for as long as 20 minutes and could fire again within 10 minutes . I had a nerve block at my local hospital which gave me some relief for about 2 weeks but thankfully the anaesthetist at City Hospital had contacted the Neuro team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Mr Paluzzi picked up my case I got an appoint ment to see him in his clinic. Mr Paluzzi was able to assure me that something could be done to alleviate my problem .He advised me to have MVD surgery. I had the surgery a couple of weeks later as he predicted it gave me immediate relief. I have my life back - I can do all the things I did before . The London Digestive Centre is in a great location, just off Bond Street, making it easy to access. The facility itself provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for patients, and they clearly have access to some of the best doctors, which gives you a lot of confidence in the care you receive. However, the reception experience could have been better. Both receptionists were on the phone when we arrived, and neither came off to assist us or book us in. This was disappointing, as it created unnecessary confusion, especially when time is tight. Ideally, there should be one receptionist dedicated to answering calls and another available to help patients checking in. In the end, we had to go straight to our appointment to avoid being late, and the consultant's secretary kindly stepped in to check us in. While the clinical care was excellent, improving the reception process would really elevate the overall patient experience.

I had a very good first visit to Harley Hearing and wish I had known about and visited this practice when I first had hearing problems 25 years ago! Now I feel very grateful to the senior clinician whom I saw. She put me at ease immediately and she understood the problems I had been having with my current hearing aids. She gave me a hearing test and explained clearly to me the reasons for the loss and suggested a maker that would be able to supply a hearing aid which would give me much improved hearing. I trust her judgment and look forward to wearing my new aids. All the staff were friendly and kind and supportive and, having had experience of both NHS and other private audiologists, I can recommend this practice unreservedly.

The reception staff were very warm and welcoming and brought me a cup of coffee Dr Dickenson was as usual very warm and welcoming.. She fully discussed the way forward and proceeded to inject the requested skin filler on my face By the following day when it had settled I was absolutely delighted with the results . I have visited the Coogan Clinic now for over 3 years since arriving in Eastbourne.. Dr Dickenson is wonderful —highly skilled and experienced and very reassuring .. I really appreciate all the improvements she has made on my face ,neck and hands . Thank you .

Mr Stott was lovely and listened to everything I said and examined me thoroughly. He explained exactly what the situation was with regard to the calcific tendinitis. I always feel after I’ve seen anyone that I have not explained my pain very well and think of questions I should have asked or things I could have explained better! I always wish I can have a do over.. it’s probably a nervous thing! However I will go and see Shona Campbell as recommended and hopefully that will further my recovery, there is nothing I can fault at all with my appointment with Mr Stott.

My named nurse Stacey was super. All of the nurses were very responsive and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble.
