From the moment I arrived at the hospital early in the morning, I was met with such warmth and professionalism. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly and reassuring, setting the tone for what turned out to be an incredibly positive experience. Every single member of staff I encountered from the porter who kindly took me to my room, to the nurses who introduced themselves and made me feel completely at home. Went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. The hospital itself was spotlessly clean, calm, and welcoming, which made such a difference to my peace of mind. The nursing team truly stood out: they not only provided excellent care and attention during my stay but also took the time to share their own experiences of the same procedure, which helped to reassure me more than words can say. The recovery nurses were so gentle and attentive after my procedure, and the discharge nurse made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. Every person I met without exception deserves a five-star rating. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made what could have been a daunting experience feel calm and positive from start to finish. Following from a cardiac angiogram test in June 2025 which was carried out by Dr Oliver Gottman (HCA) cardiologist I was recommended to see Mr Dincer Akturk at Mayo clinic. As Advised by Mr Akturk I was booked to have my operation (double coronary bypass grafting with endoscopic vein harvesting) at the Wellington North Hospital on the 14th July 2025. Now about just over 3 months post-surgery I am feeling very well and getting back to the active lifestyle and has been discharged by Mr Akturk. This is far exceeded all our expectations considering the seriousness of this kind of procedure. Every step in the journey from initial consultation to the operation and post-surgery care has been excellent. He is Extremely professional and thoughtful surgeon who delivers great care to his patients and families to make them feel as relaxed and confident as is possible in such circumstances. I have no hesitation in referring my family and friends to him as I know they will be well looked after by him and his team. Mr Akturk thank you for all you have done for me. Review for Dr. Hill and Kingsbridge North West Hospital I had a fantastic experience at Kingsbridge North West Hospital. Dr. Hill is a phenomenal surgeon — incredibly skilled, friendly, and easy to deal with. He immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s clear that he’s not only respected by his patients but also by the staff; all the nurses spoke so highly of him, both personally and professionally. They even mentioned that they can always recognize his surgical work by the exceptional standard and care he provides. All of the staff were excellent. Sku checked me in — he was very friendly, professional, and efficient. The whole process ran smoothly, and I was in and out of the clinic within an hour. I highly recommend paying the bit extra to use Kingsbridge — it’s worth every penny for the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind you receive.

Appointment was at 4:30pm and was told surgery should be at 5:15, after about an hours wait we're told the anesthesiologist has not been told hes working today so isn't there. We were told we'd have to reschedule. Then 5 minutes later we were told to wait and their on their way in so the surgery could be the same day. The anesthesiologist then came in without having read the notes of the surgery and was going to put me under when I only needed an arm block. He had a bad attitude clearly from being called in at about 8pm. The rest of the evening went smoothly but I had to wait till around 9pm to eat again & was did not feel at ease when being prepared for theatre and had to be given anxiety medication as I was very stressed by the anesthesiologists attitude. However the doctor that preformed the surgery and the nurses on the ward were incredibly kind and informative to help keep calm

My case was complicated, and the surgery lasted for almost 4 hours, but Dr. Nithish handled it with incredible skill and confidence. Before the procedure, he explained every detail clearly and supported me through all my concerns. The surgery went smoothly and my recovery has been good. His expertise, calm approach, and genuinely caring attitude made a very stressful situation much easier to go through. Receptionist who is on always makes my son feel welcome and allows him to speak comfortably and puts him at ease. dr Amrita is amazing with my son and I don’t know how she manages to make it look so easy when I know it definitely is not and my son gets extreme anxiety at times. She really is good with children especially with autism and makes them feel empowered and in control and does not pressurise when not needed. Happy kids set up in the only dentist my son will allow to see now. We travel quite far for appointments but it is worth it thank goodness for happy kids.
