Whilst time waiting to see Mr Khan was very quick , if I'd arrived any later I wouldn't have completed my check in and, I arrived more than the recommended 15 mins early more staff on reception required plus I don't think self checking in on tablets helps , whilst fine for me others clearly needed help.After seeing Mr Khan I needed follow up appointments for a scan and,blood/urine tests . Having waited at 1 reception for 15 minutes area to make an appointment for the tests to be brusquely told to go and make my scan appointment as it "Would save time" .When I'm 2 away from the desk don't think it was about saving my time.Then wait at the radiology department reception for another 15 minutes as only 1 person on reception, told they'll need to check with the radiologist and, would call me today as yet they haven't. Return to main outpatient reception to book tests and, amazingly I've now got 6 people in front of me ...finally get to the desk to be told can't do blood test as no one there to do them .Now had there been but because of time wasted there no longer was ? Not impressed by The Spire on this occasion, Mr Khan yes , but everything else no .

I was referred to Genesis by the NHS consultant oncologist to receive radiotherapy and hormone treatment for for my diagnosed advanced prostate cancer. I was seen very quickly at the Newmarket (Cambridge) branch of Genesis. The facilities are modern with state of the art CT and radiotherapy equipment. At all times the staff of all disciplines and specialties were extremely helpful and understanding. After 4 weeks (20 sessions) of radiotherapy my regular attendance finished. However I will continue to have regular reviews there with the oncologist and be given the specialist hormone therapy and other pills to be taken for 2 years. Another impressive feature at Genesis is the inclusion of gym sessions under personal guidance from two expert trainers. This is most helpful in countering the muscle loss resulting from hormone therapy. I am continuing with these sessions for some weeks after completing my treatment. In summary, Genesis Care has provided the highest possible standard of specialist cancer treatment and I would strongly recommend this organisation when radiotherapy treatment is needed.

Professor Plaha is an incredibly rare human being. Within 24 hours of my MRI scan being sent to him, he took responsibility for my care. The subsequent week, he met with me and guided me through my condition with a clear prognosis and a plan for treatment. He referred me onwards to other neurologists who were able to adapt my medication accordingly to ensure pre-operative stability. Along with his expert team, he operated to resect my tumour in a highly sensitive location with precision and success. He followed up after surgery with histology results and I have recently met with him at GenesisCare in Oxford, which promptly took place after my 3 month post operative MRI scan. In clinic, and as always - he exuded true warmth, humility, professionalism and integrity. He is a true specialist in his field and I am gracious to be under his care. Where anyone is looking for a true expert in his field in difficult and challenging circumstances, you must go no further.

My recent visits with Isabella have been nothing short of outstanding. When I first started, I was dealing with a bad back and had very little hope of returning to the gym. She consistently checks in to make sure improvements are happening and adjusts treatment as needed. Dr Siddiqi from the first moment I met him has had a profound affect on me and my wife. He is very professional and has faith in his ability and has had faith in me to follow the course of treatment he has prescribed. He explains each course of action and what it entails. He has contacted me, not just for appointments but to give me results as soon as he has got them, always treating me with respect and patience. My illness is treatable but not curable, he has empathy with myself and was happy to meet members of my family to explain my situation. He does not suffer fools gladly and is, I would suspect a perfectionist. I have every faith in him to continue with my treatment and hold him in the highest regard.

He explained all my options & what I could expect from the various treatments. I left feeling relieved from my visit & hopefully will not need to return, but if necessary would be quite happy to. May I also say the young lady on reception was very pleasant, even offering us tea or coffee. I would highly recommend this very professional clinic

Mr Abhinav carried out successful surgery on a pituitary tumour using an extended approach (this was more complex surgery as there had been a previous, unsuccessful, attempt elsewhere using a standard approach). He was very clear about the risks and benefits of the procedure and I received absolutely amazing care at Southmead postoperatively. I wish I had had my first surgery with him through an extended approach as I wouldn’t have needed further surgery.

We are so grateful to have found Paediatric Diagnostics to support us with our little one’s tongue tie. We were welcomed warmly by the practicing nurse and were swiftly met by Dr Khemani.
