Mr Al-Dadah is a Consultant Specialist Knee Surgeon dealing exclusively with the knee, receiving referrals for a variety of complex pathologies. His current practice is in Wimbledon, Kingston and the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre, the largest joint replacement centre in Europe.
Mr Al-Dadah is an expert in the full range of knee pathologies, from sports knee injuries, such as meniscal tears and ACL ruptures, to the complete repertoire of knee replacement surgery, in particular Minimally Invasive Unicompartmental (Partial) Knee Replacement and Total Knee Replacement Surgery.
Mr Al-Dadah graduated from The University of Sheffield School of Medicine. His surgical training was in the prestigious Imperial College London, Higher Specialist Training Programme, where he spent several years in London's leading hospitals, from complex tertiary referral units to major trauma centres.
He undertook his higher fellowship training in the highly competitive, and world renowned, Oxford Knee Fellowship. He advanced in sports knee ligament reconstructions, cartilage regeneration techniques and meniscal injuries, with a focus on rehabilitating athletes back to their pre-injury level.
Mr Al-Dadah spent a year in the designing centre of the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement, working with the team behind the leading partial knee replacement implant in the UK National Joint Registry. As a result, Mr Al-Dadah has a particular interest in partial knee replacements, leading to a rapid recovery and a more natural feeling knee. He has a unique experience in the development of patient pathways, with the majority of his knee replacements comfortably using stairs and going home the same day, just a few hours after surgery.
Due to Mr Al-Dadah's experience and reputation, he is regularly invited to lecture as a Key Opinion Leader in knee surgery, with several Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons visiting Mr Al-Dadah’s operating theatre to learn his techniques, both nationally and internationally. He has trained numerous doctors and surgeons over the years, passing on his expertise to colleagues within the field. He is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, is the founding director of postgraduate courses, and is regular invited faculty in numerous teaching programmes. He has won several awards for his teaching, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Mr Al-Dadah utilises these skills by working closely with his team, but most of all with his patients and their relatives, to formulate the best long-term plan for their care.

Mr Khalid Al-Dadah is a professional, kind, and reassuring specialist with patients. He provides clear explanations for procedures like partial knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, and meniscus repair. Patients report excellent outcomes and swift recoveries, often regaining mobility and living pain-free. His successful work on knee replacement, ligament, and cartilage issues receives wide patient praise.
Mr Al-Dadah has been my doctor for both of my ACL and meniscus reconstructions and both have gone extremely well & as smooth as possible. He really understands how to go about the whole procedure and the possible discomforts you may feel which helps with recovery so much. Also the scars are minimal and well placed on both legs so that they don’t look so invasive & scary looking
I am 78 years old and was very apprehensive about my partial knee replacement operation but Mr Al-Dadah was wonderfully reassuring. I saw him a couple of times before the actual surgery and he clearly outlined the procedure and post-op routine. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the operation he was again very reassuring - and of course, extremely skilful as a surgeon. Mr Al-Dadah doesn't use robots, unlike some others. My incision was small and neat. It healed quickly and I had the clips out after 2 weeks. I did physio twice a day after the operation. After 5 and a half weeks (once everything had completely healed), I also had hydrotherapy. I've just had a 6 week check-up with Mr Al-Dadah and the results of the operation are excellent. I cannot praise him too highly. I felt very well looked after throughout the whole experience. Enormous thanks to Mr Al-Dadah and his team.
I was dreading my partial knee replacement, but once the initial couple of weeks were over, my progress was swift and very satisfying. I did all the relevant exercises , especially during the first 6 weeks, and that has really paid off. Thanks to the encouragement of my surgeon and physio, I feel I have got my life back.
I recently had my ACL reconstructed and my meniscal repaired by Dr Al-Dadah and I am very thankful for the excellent care I received. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor who wanted to make sure I understood both procedures and answered all of my questions pre-operation. His knowledge, professionalism and caring attitude gave me great confidence in his treatment. My surgery went well and my recovery has been smooth with his help and advice. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Dr Al- Dadah has been very helpful and kind every step of the way. I had a meniscus tear. He did the MRI and shared informed alternative course of action. We agreed to do a steroid injection to manage the pain and booked a surgery to “tidy up” the meniscus. The Dr team was very kind and answered promptly all my questions ( pre op jitters), giving me amazing reassurance. The operation ran smoothly and 2 weeks later I got the stitches removed. Almost 95% mobility back already and pain free.
I had a partial right knee replacement and its been life changing. Can't recommend Mr Al-Dadah enough.
I recently underwent two knee surgeries performed by Dr. Khalid Al-Dadah, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care and professionalism I received. From the very first consultation, Dr. Al-Dadah demonstrated kindness, patience, and a genuine concern for my well-being. He took the time to explain every aspect of both procedures in clear, understandable terms, ensuring I felt informed and confident throughout the process. What truly stood out was his use of practical examples and visual aids. Dr. Al-Dadah went above and beyond by showing detailed explanations on screen and even using a 3D model of the knee to illustrate the procedures. This level of clarity and attention to detail made a world of difference in helping me understand what to expect. His professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach gave me complete trust in his care. Both surgeries were a success, and my recovery has been smooth thanks to his guidance and support. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Khalid Al-Dadah to anyone seeking an outstanding specialist orthopedic knee surgeon who combines technical excellence with genuine empathy.
Over the past 11 months I have had 2 partial knee operations and on both occasions the level of care and professionalism has been outstanding
Mr Al-Dadah is just absolutely amazing. He’s lovely kind and soo caring and my son’s ACL op was fantastic.. he even called to put our minds at rest when our son came out of his op. Can’t thank him enough for all he has done.
Can’t thank him enough was unbelievable how good he was
Mr Al Dadah is an excellent colleague. All my patients who were seen by him have sung his praises. He is an excellent knee surgeon who puts his patients at the forefront of his work.
