Gus has been helping me to combat sciatica pain in my leg and weakness in my back. He identified the areas of my body that needed strengthening and provided me with a workout programme that’s noticeably increased my strength in these areas. He’s also encouraged me to go out of my comfort zone and lift weights that I previously thought impossible for me to tackle! All helping me to gain confidence in improving my strength and fitness.

‘You’re fit, but not fit enough for the things you want to do!’ Gus’ telling assessment of the knee pain I was suffering. Definitely not what I wanted to hear, as I’d avoided injury most of my life - but sufficient motivation to embrace his strengthening programme. Recovery means continuing with all my retirement activities - pain free

I have had a ACL reconstruction surgery last September and had been extremely anxious for the recovery period to begin. My number one priority was to seek the best and most professional help out there - which led me to Gus. Gus has supported me throughout my recovery journey and are still doing so to this day. He is extremely professional and will address your needs and cater to your personal recovery journey (whether it’s major or minor - I have seen him enough to know how competent and caring he is). For each phase of my recovery, he created a personalised agenda catered to my strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, I had to fly out of London for nearly a month, however it didn’t stop him from checking in to make sure everything is going as it should and also created a programme for when I was away as well as offered to get online video sessions booked to observe the progress that’s been made. I would strongly recommend Gus!

I have been being treated by Gus following ACL & MCL surgery. He has been so helpful getting me back to my original position, gaining full motion and feeling happy and content in my knee. He has instilled confidence in my recovery by being very thorough and particular in my exercises. I wouldn’t be in the confident state I am in without Gus’s help and support so I can’t thank him enough. Best physio I’ve ever had!

Following a ski accident in December that resulted in surgery for a broken femur bone, I was fortunate to find GUS. After just five treatments, the progress I've made was already clearly recognizable. GUS’ approach is both professional and compassionate. He has a pleasant personality and genuine concern for his patients' well-being. I am looking forward to continuing my treatment after my return from travel.

Had a physio session after injuring my shoulder during sparring for my upcoming fight, I done my physio with Gus who was very polite and was quickly able to find out what was causing the issues, after an hour of treatment my shoulder was already massively improved, my range of motion was much better and the pain was almost gone entirely, without this session I wouldn’t of been able to get back to training and it would of been very impactful on my upcoming fight, I’m very thankful for Gus’s help as without it I would be set back weeks in training, Highly recommend anyone experiencing issues to contact Augustin Hadonou to get the best treatment available

Explanation

I recently had the privilege of working with Gus, and I am compelled to share my positive experience. My primary concern was persistent neck and shoulder pain, after an MRI scan that came back inconclusive, which had been affecting my daily life and overall well-being. Gus demonstrated not only a high level of expertise but also genuine empathy and dedication to helping me find relief. What truly stood out was Gus' comprehensive approach to my treatment. They took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, listening attentively to my concerns and understanding the specific challenges I faced. This personalized attention created a sense of trust and confidence in their abilities. Throughout the sessions, Gus explained each step of the treatment plan, ensuring I was well-informed and actively involved in my recovery. He explained everything in a way that made the process much more accessible and empowering. I appreciated the variety of techniques and exercises Gus incorporated into my sessions, all tailored to address my unique needs. I am looking forward to the progress that will be made with Gus, and have no doubt in his ability to get me back to wellness.

Gus is a highly trained physio with whom I have worked for many years. I have often referred him patients with complex shoulder and pathology who have had little success with junior physios, with excellent results. And to top it all Gus is a really likeable chap!

As a Consultant Specialist Knee Surgeon, I cannot recommend Gus highly enough. I have treated numerous patients with sports knee injuries and knee replacements that have been seeing Gus post-operatively, and pleased to say that their treatment has been exceptional. He has a brilliant knowlege of Orthopaedic pathologies, and works very well to adapt to patients needs and really get the best out of them. I particularly like the way his mind works and how he see's things, and always feel very reassured when one of my patients is under Gus's care. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
