About
Charlie Goodchild is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist and founder of Better, a new clinic in Soho, and is also working as a physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine's Bank clinic in the City. Both clinic's offer face-to-face and remote video consultations.
Prior to opening his own practice Better, Charlie was the Head of the Rehabilitation team across the 7 Pure Sports Medicine sites in London.
Mr Goodchild has expertise in exercise/rehabilitation prescription, sports medicine, complex injury management, and chronic/persistent pain.
He has a special interest in the following areas:

Mr Goodchild completed his bachelor's degree in sports and exercise science in 2008, achieving a first class honours degree at the University of Essex, followed by a master's degree in Physiotherapy in 2010.
Charlie has worked in sport throughout his career, working with The Football Association for over 8 years, first with the Partially Sighted and Powerchair Squads and was then lead physiotherapist for the England Futsal Team for 3 seasons. Charlie also worked with Saracens Acadamy Rugby, Essex County Rugby and for Barking Rugby Club.
Prior to his current role, he worked with Nuffield Health and IPRS Health. He has also previously been a guest lecturer at the University of Essex for the physiotherapy master's programme.
Mr Goodchild is HCPC and CSP registered and holds a further qualifications in Advanced Trauma and Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF).
His personal interests include spending time with family, reading, listening to podcasts, running, cycling, golf, weight training, and watching any sport he has the time for.
