I've worked with Charlie a few time when I was playing rugby and his knowledge is superb. He was able to assess the issue, help with mobility and provide exercises for me to perform by myself that really got me back to full fitness quickly.

I went to see Charlie following a knee surgery I had which addressed medial/lateral meniscus damage, anterior horn tear, and an osteochondral fracture. I struggled the first 8-10 months after the surgery and was losing hope. I then saw Charlie and he was able to explain the technical reasons behind what was going on in my body, but in very easy to digest explanations sometimes supported with visuals. The explanations were backed with evidence as over the course of my physio sessions with Charlie, those explanations played out and I saw good progress which gave me hope for the future. I have been able to return to sport and a couple years on have continued with the programme I got from Charlie. Even though I don’t see him anymore, those learnings continue to help me do what I love doing till this day.

I came to see Charlie in such a bad shape, and he listened attentively and tried out various methods to help me, always checking along the way if it was ok with me, if it seemed to be working, etc. I would recommend Charlie to anyway, he really helped me through a very difficult, painful injury, always being upfront about what he could discern but kind and attentive in how we worked through treatment together.

Charlie is a world class operator. Over a two year period he helped me through a rehab journey of multi-ligament reconstruction in my knee, to get back to an active lifestyle. During this time he of course fulfilled the role of Physiotherapist to the highest degree. However, one cannot overlook contribution he made towards my motivation, persistence and quality of work. I would thoroughly recommend consulting him on any physiotherapy needs one may have.
