His extensive surgical training took him across Yorkshire and the North-West, culminating in a prestigious revision arthroplasty fellowship at Wirral University Hospitals, where he also gained experience in treating cancer patients with metastatic bone disease.
Mr Alexander is active in research and has published over a dozen research papers, presented at national and international conferences, and won awards for his quality improvement projects. In addition, he is passionate about medical education; he teaches and examines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including for the FRCS exit exam preparation courses for orthopaedic surgeons.

Came today to see Mr Alexander for a post op review for my second knee operation in seven months. I cannot thank Mr Alexander and the team enough. Dr Alexander was a gentleman and polite, he check on me after surgery and gave me advice on what to do.
My appointment was on time . MR Alexander was very professional and friendly. Made me feel relaxed and explained everything so i could understand all he was saying.Staff were very helpful and caring. Nothing was to much trouble.
