About Mr Azhar Din
Mr. Azhar Din is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in soft tissue knee surgery, joint preservation, and knee arthroplasty. He completed his medical degree at Lancaster University and the University of Liverpool, with an intercalated BSc in Anatomy and Human Sciences at King’s College London.
He attained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in 2015 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr+Orth) in 2021.
Mr. Din’s postgraduate training included core surgical training in North West England (2014–2016), specialist registrar training in Trauma & Orthopaedics across NHS Scotland (2016–2018) and St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals (2018–2022), followed by multiple post-CCT Knee Fellowships at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, North Bristol NHS Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and a Travelling Knee Fellowship in London, Ontario, Canada.
He holds extensive experience in knee surgery and arthroplasty, gained through these advanced fellowship positions.

Mr azhar is a very caring man who looks after you and did an amazing job for me on my knee after suffering for a long time my knee was like new the week after and no issues since I think was over 6 months ago now mayb more. Fitted me in quick and explained everything no rush pressure or anything. Cudnt ask for more.
It was an overall great experience easy to talk and explained everything in detail and made it easy to understand
From the very first meeting with Mr Din I was fully aware of what was going to happen during my procedure and what he wanted to get out of my operation to make my life easier and getting back to Normal life with work and sport. I am overwhelmed of how well the operation went and what I am achieving in such a short space of time and that’s all down to Mr Din. I have friends who are athletes in many sports and I have said if you ever have knee injuries you need to ask for Mr Din because he’s the best out their in my opinion.
I cannot fault Mr Din. He has changed my life. I had two years in pain when I couldn't walk my dogs. I am now walking pain free for miles. He is my hero, and should have an MBE/OBE, Sir Din.XX

I had MPFL surgery by Mr Din. From the first meeting with Mr Din, I felt at ease and knew I was in safe hands. As someone who was quite anxious about apprehensive about surgery, Mr Din spent alot of time reassuring me and giving me lots of information about the procedure. I felt listened to, and although Mr Din has plenty of patients I’m sure - I felt like the only one. That is testament to his five star bedside manner. My surgery was a complete success and I now have life changing confidence in my knee. My case was made slightly more complicated due to my hyper mobility, however I had full confidence in Mr Din. Recovery was aided by reassurance from Mr Din, whom I felt was contactable throughout. I cannot express my gratitude enough, or recommend Mr Din enough!
