Mr Challand always greeted me with a very pleasant and positive attitude at our face to face meetings. This was very encouraging and helped me to carry the positivity throughout my time under Mr Challand's care. When I came round out of the initial surgery, I saw my situation and for the next 2 days I allowed my internal voices to voice how they saw my future situation. However at the end of the 2nd day, I gave myself a good talking to, that tomorrow (the 3rd day) there would be no more "why me" complaining. This is how I carried on - Only Positivity, and it worked for me. Yes, there were a few situations but I dealt with each in a plus positive manner. I always made sure to greet every one with a positive outlook. My visits with Mr Challand have always been very pleasant and straight to the point. Thanks to all the staff who were involved with my case. I'm so fortunate to be here and can only express my sincere thanks to all. The best gift to me has been the reversal. The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

Great experience in general. The whole thing from the emails you get, the appointment scheduling and of course visiting the doctor, all went really smoothly. I saw Dr Antbring who was really lovely and helped me through my journey including the initial scan, sending me for the MRI and helping me to decide and then actually doing the injection and of course a plan for my rehab exercises. Great experience overall. Now I need to wait a week and then start with the rehab and fingers crossed I make a full recovery. I appreciate everything. Thanks again!

He explains what he's going to do and why and is patient I'm answering all my questions. This is the third operation on my eye. I know why neither worked as well as both he and I would have liked. I am confident that he will use what he has learned from these two experiences to my advantage and have high hopes of a good outcome

The team on the OCD ward incredibly kind caring and compassionate. It's like being part of a family, including the other 5 patients here. Although, it was challenging at times, I've learnt so much about my condition and I now realise that my beliefs does not necessarily mean it's true. If you're suffering with OCD and feel like you're alone or you have nowhere else to turn to, I highly recommend the Nightingale's 28 day inpatient stay.
