Everyone was at all times friendly and quietly efficient. I was assessed via up to five impressive machines on the working day following my initial approach to the clinic. I had to approach the Clinic following the retirement of the consultant whom I had originally engaged, and who had agreed with my optician that I was ready for surgery. The initial examination at the Clinic was most impressive, and when Mr Chan met me shortly thereafter he was clearly able to make a quick assessment. He explained to me that the operation would be challenging, given the damaged condition of my eye, but he agreed with my decision to ask him to proceed. The pamphlets provided enabled me to have a good understanding of the nature of a cataract and the usual course of treatment before and after the operation. On the day of the procedure I approached without misgivings, and following a full discussion with a senior nurse who sought fuller details of my medical history, and then the application of anaesthetics by the anaesthetist, I proceeded to the operating theatre. It was good and very reassuring to be able to feel the area round my eye go numb in advance of entering the theatre. The operation was for me comfortable, and I enjoyed the soft verbal exchanges between Mr Chan and his staff, and the gentle and futuristic sounds of the surgical equipment. Afterwards, I have felt no discomfort from the after effects, and the post operation advice from another nurse has been very clear and helpful. And I am delighted with the outcome. After having been in effect virtually blind in my right eye, my vision is now clear, bright and colourful. Very much better that these current aspects of by “good” left eye! Well done everyone! I have been very happy with my overall experience at Vision Scotland Edinburgh. The staff were both friendly and professional. I was well informed regarding my choices and the procedure. I have been thrilled with the result of the cataract surgery. I was given an appointment very soon after the referral. I would however like to let you know how I felt the experience on the day of the operation could have been improved. Firstly I was not sent the Post Op information which would have been most helpful to read before the procedure. Secondly I got very cold in theatre and was given a blanket but it did take me ages to warm up. It would have been better to have been given a blanket before the procedure started. There is a lot of cold water being used which does add to the chill. Thirdly I was not told to bring sunglasses for the journey home or to bring analogies both of which I would very much appreciated as I lived over a hour away. On the journey home I became extremely uncomfortable. Finally the roof of my mouth and tongue got a little burnt I think by the coffee as they must have been a little bit anaesthetised still when I had the coffee. The coffee however i have to say was absolutely welcome and the best thing along with the toasted teacake. I found it very reassuring to have a telephone number to call which I did use. I also very much appreciate the phone call from the nurse a couple of days post op. I hope you find the above comments of use. I do not wish to criticise as overall it was an extremely good experience and I would and have already recommended Vision Scotland. ( I did tell my neighbour to ask for a blanket!)

From the initial consultation through to post-operative followup, the care I received throughout my multifocal cataract surgery was consistently professional and well organised. Prior to surgery, the assessment process, treatment options, and expected outcomes were explained clearly and in detail. In particular, the differences between single-vision and multifocal replacement lenses were discussed thoroughly, including the potential benefits, limitations, and suitability for my individual needs. I was given sufficient time to consider these options and to ask questions, which supported an informed and confident decision. On the day of surgeries, the team was efficient, professional, and considerate. The procedures themselves were straightforward and managed smoothly, and I felt appropriately supported throughout. Post-surgical care was structured and attentive. Follow-up appointments were conducted carefully, with clear guidance provided regarding recovery, taking prescribed medication, visual adaptation, and next steps. Any queries were dealt with promptly, and my progress was monitored appropriately. Overall, the combination of clinical expertise, clear communication, particularly around lens choice and considerate care resulted in a positive experience and a very satisfactory visual outcome. I would confidently recommend this practice to others considering cataract surgery.

My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

Dr Anoop Shetty and his team at the London Bridge clinic and hospital can be highly recommended to deal expertly with the investigation, treatment and surgical management of abnormal heart rhythms. In his clinic there was plenty of time to discuss and ask questions about atrial fibrillation, the need for blood thinning medication and the potential benefits and risks associated with ablation surgery. You can expect to wear a heart monitor for a few days with a review of the findings. In my case an additional problem of heart block was identified requiring the surgical insertion of a pacemaker. Whilst in hospital in your own room every member of staff did their job in a very professional, reassuring and friendly manner. Follow-up was equally as thorough ensuring no questions remained unanswered.

My visit was entirely satisfactory. The staff were exceptionally friendly at all times and they seem to meet a lot of them. I was getting informed about what was going to happen to me at all times. The menu was amazing and the whole place seem to be extremely efficiently run My only comment of an adverse nature would be that having been shown to a room on my arrival where my wife carefully unpacked all my belongings she she know sooner had left Than. I had to pack them all up again because I was being transferred to another room and then when I came out of the operating theatre before I went home, I had to wait three hours before I managed to get my belongings back again no book to read or iPad slightly frustrating but that was the only hiccup on an excellent visit.

Honestly, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the attention to detail really stood out. The clinic is thoughtfully designed to appeal to all ages — my 8 year old was quite apprehensive beforehand but ran straight in as soon as she spotted the Rubik’s cubes. The doctor was warm and approachable, and I was genuinely surprised to receive his report within just a few hours of the appointment. I’ve been to private clinics before, but nothing has compared to this level of care. Even being asked for feedback shows how much thought and consideration goes into Kidswell Health.

I've been trying to book an initial appointment for last two weeks. I've been emailed times slot for appointment but then we're told that the time slot was taken by another patient. I've called numerous times. But there is no one picking up the phone. Emails are not responded to in timely manner either. I don't know what to think of you're services and what your staff are like because you're team are not there to take calls or email back when we need them. Will you're doctors be the same? Would it be that difficult to get a consultation with them. I'm very disappointed with your reception staff!

I have had two consultations with Mr Stone so far which have been excellent. Mr Stone is thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He is very caring, patient and an extremely good communicator. I have also been impressed by his comprehensive follow up letters. It is extremely helpful to have the full picture in black and white so one is not relying on memory of all of those medical terms! I am hoping the steroid injections I have received will work wonders but if I do need an operation I have every confidence that Mr Stone will look after me extremely well.

I can’t recommend David highly enough. I went in feeling 'off' and he was able to confirm that exactly how I was feeling was reflected directly in my blood tests. It was such a relief to have my symptoms validated by the data rather than feeling like it was all in my head. He explained the results clearly and started a treatment plan that has been life-changing. I’m now feeling in great health, with a huge boost in my motivation and overall energy. If you want a doctor who connects the dots and gets real results, David is the one to see.

Would highly recommend Dr. Barrass. Easy to talk to and explained everything very clearly. Went to see him with some genuine prostate concerns following an MRI Scan and left with a weight off my shoulders. Also a special mention to his PA Jennifer who went above and beyond to get me an earlier appointment and getting all the relevant information delivered to Dr. Barrass in time so that our appointment could be as productive as possible. 5 stars to both.
