Within three weeks I was walking comfortably without crutches, and now just nine weeks post-op, I’m back to most of my favourite activities with a completely pain-free hip. The surgical scar has healed beautifully and is a testament to Dr. Field’s skill and precision. This surgery has been an absolute game changer, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Field for giving me my quality of life back. I can’t wait to return to surfing later this year!

I was fortunate and privileged to be introduced to Ian Jenkins in Jan 2021 after a referral from colleagues at St Marks Hospital, North London. Having been diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2020 and undergone pre surgery radiotherapy and chemotherapy through the NHS, due to COVID backlogs with NHS procedures, we decided to go privately for future treatment and surgery - one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Through Ian's skill and professionalism over the last 5 yrs of many surgical and personal consultations and referrals, I am still cancer free and living a relatively normal life with my family in retirement - something I feared, in the early days post diagnosis, I was unlikely to have. Ian has not only, literally, saved my life but also given me a quality of life that I could never of dreamed of after my devastating cancer news back in 2020. I will always be eternally grateful to Ian and his team for his brilliance then and now as he continues to support me and my family with regard to my future health.

I was greeted by an amicable, polite & efficient receptionist on arrival and shown to the waiting room where member of the theatre staff would come for me and explain what would happen next. Kate introduce herself and on knowing I have profound hearing loss made sure that I understood everything. She prepared me well with the required eye drops and made sure I understood the process that would happen in theatre. Having escorted me into theatre she introduced me to Mr Shafiq, the surgeon and the other theatre staff. Mr Shafiq is very approachable and explained clearly what was going to happen. During the procedure he talked me through what he as about to do and what I would see. He was very reassuring throughout the whole procedure which took about 10 mins. He explained clearly about the eye pad, the eye drops etc and Kate made sure that I had understood this before she escorted me to the waiting room. Overall, an excellent team and excellent care; even better than I'd expected because of my profound hearing loss.

Mr James Singleton

After trying unsuccessfully to ignore my nagging knee pain I. Was getting out of the chair when it clicked and remained very painful thereafter. I decided to get a professional opinion and selected Mr James Singleton (James) as he specialised in knees and had extensive experience. Following a scan the issue and damage was clearly explained to me and options offered which James told me to take time to think about. I opted for a relatively new treatment called Arthrosamid which involved a painless injection under a local anaesthetic into the knee and 3 months later have gone from not being able to walk very far to 10,000 steps a day and am looking forward to further improvement in the coming months. I would highly recommend James and if I need the other knee done will certainly be contacting him. Thank you.

My experience of the hospital was very good. The staff were amazing especially Jayne on Day surgery and David at the ward at night. The only downside that came to my attention is being told that there was no lactose free milk for my tea. The lady, I did catch her name, told me that she wasn’t aware of my overnight stay. She asked me if I was aware that I was staying overnight and I replied ‘yes’. She then went on to ask if I had put it in my forms prior to attending and I said yes. She kept on going on it wasn’t her fault she had been told. A bit of advice would be that she overshared. She clearly sorted the problem as the following morning someone had picked up the milk and I had it with my tea.

I valued Mr Stafford's absolute clarity and professionalism at all times. From the German health system, I wasn't used to be taken too seriously with my views, needs and concerns, so, I had previously experienced a lot of frustration. Mr Stafford and his entire team not only achieved excellent results through the operation and after-care, but made me feel I was in charge, was being very well looked after and put in a position where I could confidently go home post op and manage. The healing process seems amazingly fast. I do recommend Mr Stafford's services!

Staff very friendly and nice facilities. However, my experience booking an appointment was frustrating. The consultant’s PA insisted that I go to GenesisCare for the ultrasound but then booked my appointment on a day where the technician was on annual leave, so I had to make an extra visit. I was unhappy to need a second visit just for ultrasound - the consultant’s PA insisted that I see the consultant at GenesisCare, which is less convenient location. but booked my appointment on a day where the technician was on annual leave.

I can’t recommend this clinic enough. Anjila Rokaya is an excellent physiotherapist and truly made all the difference for me…I’ve had so much improvement in my shoulder pain since starting treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, and really supportive throughout. Also a huge thank you to Kelly for being so helpful with my booking.. she called me back quickly and gave me clear information about my insurance invoice and everything I needed. Brilliant service all round. Absolutely love them 🥰

He carried out my balance testing explaining each one in detail which I really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my queries . Lovely helpful doctor, didn't feel rushed, was listened too. Only reason no 5 star was hard to get through to reception and the inconvenience of being sent a letter for telephone appointment instead of agreed face to face appointment and not being able to get through to reception until the 11th hour to confirm and endure we had the correct appointment. Hospital was clean and looked well kept and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Good: - Great greeting and friendly reception staff. - Good, efficient and empathetic nurses. Not so Good: - Original caller to book appointment told me to schedule 1h. On arrival I was told 2h, which meant I needed to reschedule other commitments. - Was seen by nurse 30 mins after my scheduled appointment and 40 minutes after my arrival. No warning given by reception on arrival. I had to proactively ask after waiting 25 mins

My first appointment with Dr Lach did not disappoint She was welcoming and easy to talk to and clearly knowledgable and well informed. She explained every step which enabled me to make an informed decision. I did not feel rushed and was given plenty of opportunities to ask further questions.i look forward to going back to see her.

Mr Seni Subair

For our Midwife Led Delivery Mr Seni Subair was our lead consultant. Throughout the labour the team kept him up to date and in the end he assisted with the delivery. His manner and expertise were very reassuring and we felt we were in very safe hands. The experience was as calm as possible with him there and he ensured a safe delivery with expert and well timed intervention. Thank you
