Dr Freeman was extremely professional and very reassuring when I attended a consultation about my foot for hallux rigidus. She quickly diagnosed the situation and explained the options available to me. The consultation was followed up very promptly with correspondence and appropriate follow up appointments. Excellent.

I met with Ms Claire Freeman at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury to discuss a possible operation to remove a bunion. From the moment I arrived at reception the staff were lovely, helpful, smiling and professional. The hospital itself is in a green, leafy and peaceful location which adds to the feeling of calm generally. This is the first time I've met Ms Freeman, who will be the surgeon who operates on my foot. She was very approachable, friendly and calm, professional, informative, clear and very open about what to expect. At no point did I ever feel hurried. She has made me feel much less anxious at the thought of an operation, and she was refreshingly open and honest with her advice. I'm really pleased that the person I had the consultation with is the person who will do the surgery. I also met the team in the Radiology Dept and was met with the same calm, professional and friendly feeling. Based on my first visit and consultation today, I'd have no hesitation in recommending.

Approximately a year ago Mrs Freeman straightened a toe and removed a bunion for me. The experience was painless and therefore I was happy to approach her for a second toe procedure. After an X-ray Mrs Freeman decided to proceed with the same procedure on my other foot. Once again the procedure was explained and it wasn’t long before I went to theatre. I opted for local anaesthetic and Mrs Freeman administered the injection which was bearable. It wasnt long before I returned to my room and was able to return home in the next hour.

Upon my arrival I was greeted straight way by staff and was impressed by overall efficiency by everyone I saw. Any apprehensions I had about my procedure were totally and reassuringly dealt with and I can’t fault the whole experience today. Thank you!
