My recent visit to New Hall Hospital for a minor foot surgery, was an extremely positive experience . From the friendly Reception desk staff, to the the very professional and kind nursing staff and the superb surgical experience under the care of Podiatric Surgeon, Claire Freeman, this was an experience that way exceeded my expectations. Even for less serious surgery, there is always and element of anxiety and even fear , yet from the moment I arrived today I felt in very safe and capable hands. Being a professional nurse myself, I always notice the little things - attention to detail, clear explanations of the surgery and side effects, during consenting process, opportunity to ask questions, and safety checks. Once in the small operations theatre, again, I was extremely impressed with the efficient surgical processes and checks put in place, for my safety and Ms Freemans superb surgical skill. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Thank you.
