About Mr David Gruhl
David Gruhl is an experienced Sports Podiatrist in Central London, specialising in foot, ankle and lower limb pain. He consults in Angel, the City of London and Chelsea, helping patients with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, plantar plate injuries, forefoot pain, flat feet, hypermobility, tibialis posterior tendinopathy, peroneal tendinopathy and arthritis.

He is also currently completing a PGCert in MSK Ultrasound of the Foot and Ankle from Brunel University, a CASE-accredited qualification in diagnostic ultrasound assessment.
He has also completed the ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach qualification, which complements his rehabilitation-based approach and supports patients ranging from active individuals to athletes. David serves on the Executive Board of the Podiatric Sports Medicine Specialist Advisory Group and has been awarded Fellowship in Podiatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

My consultation with David was superb. I have had a long-standing issue with achilles tendinopathy and was getting very frustrated at the lack of progress I was seeing based on the advice I had been given at other places. David's assessment was so much more concrete and really has given me the confidence that I will soon be able to run with full movement again. His down-to-earth manner and professional knowledge has really made the difference.

I visited for a foot and gait assessment and came away with a comprehensive, well-structured plan covering footwear recommendations, orthotics, mobility work, and a targeted rehab programme. The consultation was thorough and the advice was clearly tailored to my specific needs. Each recommendation was explained with supporting resources, which makes it easy to follow independently at home. Would highly recommend to anyone dealing with foot or lower limb issues.
David is very knowledgable but explains things in really easy to understand terms. He is friendly, professional, patient and I really appreciate how he is realistic with treatment plans and what is going to work best at an individual level.
