I cannot recommend Mr Zekry highly enough. Following a serious hand injury, I underwent surgery under his care and have been incredibly grateful for his expertise, kindness and professionalism throughout my treatment. From my very first appointment, he took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured I understood every stage of my treatment. During surgery, his calm, reassuring manner immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely safe under his care. His commitment to my recovery did not end with the operation. He reviewed my progress regularly, worked closely with my hand therapist and genuinely cared about achieving the best possible outcome for me. Thanks to his skill and encouragement, I have regained full function in my hand and can return to both my career and the activities I love. Mr Zekry is not only an exceptional surgeon but also a compassionate and caring doctor. I will always be grateful for everything he has done for me.
Seen 5 weeks late, post op. Different views compared to my appointments with my physio.
I came to see him after my op just for a check up all is good. Great dr he did for me exactly what he said he was gping to do . I am in no pain and able to do my job and go about my daily life to the full. Forever grateful
Mr. Zekry was understanding, gave very useful follow on advice and made me feel very much at ease.
Mr zekey is a great doctor. Knows his job and always explaining it so well
There're not enough words to express my gratitude to Mr Zekry for the work that he preformed on both my hands. For 6 years I was on morphine for chronic pain and was informed that nothing can be done, it's all about pain management. Since having surgery, I am no longer on morphine my hands are better than they have ever been. It is like having a new lease of life. Thank you Mr Zekry from the bottom of my heart ♥
I was very fortunate to see Mr Zekry for consultation after my first very complex elbow operation in the Homerton hospital following a very serious elbow multiple fracture. He explained everything to me in great detail and he was extremely professional. Unfortunately I broke my ulna bone and the head of the radial bone shortly after this consultation for the second time. I decided to have Mr Zekry to do the second operation. I was told that originally the hospital wanted to replace the broken head of the radial bone with a metal one which probably will lead to serious mobility issues of my arm. Mr Zekry fixed the broken ulna during the second operation and decided not to remove the head of the radial bone but to let it heal naturally. Because of his excellent skills during the operation the broken radial head healed perfectly. He saved my arm which now is functioning almost as normal. I am for ever grateful to Mr Zekry for his fantastic skills as a surgeon and also for his extremely detailed and very honest explanation of all details which I deeply appreciate. He is very positive and reassuring. I owe him the perfect function of my arm at present. I can work and do all activities without a single problem. I will recommend his expertise to everyone who needs help following the difficult times after arm fracture.
Medhat Zekry is a good surgeon in my experience. He provided clear analysis showed me X-rays and explained the options. The surgery went well, new thumb joint in place and settling in. I’m 5 weeks into recovery and mobility and grip are already good.. The before and after x rays show a new straight aligned thumb connected to my wrist compared with a dislocated thumb and chronically painful hand and wrist before. Many thanks Mr Zekry. I recommend you..
As a doctor myself, I can easily say that Dr. Zekri is hands down one of the best hand specialists in the country. I suffered a hand injury playing football, as goalkeeper. Dr. Zekry spotted my scaphoid fracture, which was missed by the radiologist upon initial X-ray. He immediately changed my treatment and I am now following the right protocol, without which there would’ve been drastic consequences that would only be noticed months from now. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained to me my treatment options, and was very empathetic and kind. I look forward to fully healing in 5 weeks, and I’m sure I am in safe hands.
Mr Zekry is an excellent consultant hand and wrist surgeon whose expertise is matched by his calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred approach. He has an excellent ability to assess complex hand and wrist conditions and develop treatment plans that are both evidence-based and tailored to the individual. As a colleague, I have always been impressed by his attention to detail, clear communication, and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes. He is highly regarded by both patients and fellow clinicians, and his professionalism and integrity are evident in every aspect of his practice. I...
