Mr Muhammad Shahid is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, which now make part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. With a medical career spanning over 20 years, Mr Shahid is a fellowship-trained surgeon and has a special interest in foot and ankle surgery.
Mr Shahid has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He takes keen interest in sharing his knowledge and experience and is a faculty on various postgraduate orthopaedic courses. I’m very happy fully explained & what next process is when needed
Things were Things were explained quite easily there was made to feel very comfortable
Very attentive. Listened to my concerns & looked at my foot to assess the issue and make recommendations.
I have seen Mr Shahid three times. He is direct but still empathetic and explains the diagnosis very well. At no time has he made me feel the problem I have with pains in my foot are trivial or unimportant - quite the opposite. I am very pleased I went to see him.
Dealt with very professionally, reassured that he is very competent. Perhaps from a patients point of view a little more info.on what to expect after surgery. I had no idea that I would walk out after surgery with no pain or problem for 24 hours for example.
It was a bit frustrating that despite calling in advance my scan and Xrays were not available. I now require another appointment to have these available.
