Mr Jan Marciniak

I can’t praise Mr Jan Marciniak my surgeon enough. I had a bilateral hip replacement and have been delighted with my progress, recovering much quicker than I expected. His skill and care have made such a difference, and I’m now hoping to be back on the ski slopes next year and back Golfing . My advice to anyone having the operation is to keep up with the exercises afterwards, as they really help you regain your mobility and balance. I’m so grateful to my surgeon and anaesthetist who I would wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you the Spire and all the Team . Carole

Mr Marciniak is an excellent surgeon and puts you at complete ease before any procedure. He explains everything along the way and will listen to any worries you may have. I have been lucky enough to have had two procedures performed by Mr Marciniak and cannot rate him highly enough. A fantastic surgeon.

This was a review following my left hip replacement performed by Mr Marciniak 23/07/26. (Right hip surgery was 05/11/25) Mr Marciniak was smartly dressed, professional and friendly. We discussed how we were both very pleased with my progress and quick recovery. He reviewed and showed me my x ray and explained the details simply and clearly. He was caring and supportive and enquired if I had any questions. All my questions were answered clearly which put me at ease. MRr Marciniak took time to advise me on the types of exercise and activities I can now restart and of the time frame of restrictions . I thanked him and expressed my gratitude for his care and surgical expertise which have enabled me to move pain free and enjoy my life again

From the original consultation Mr. Marciniak has been clear and concise explaining every detail of the total hip replacement I underwent. The follow up appointments were carried out professionally and friendly and put me at ease and answered any questions. Overall a 5 star experience.

The medical team were excellent and explained every step of the operation. They listened to my concerns prior to surgery and walked me through the procedure in a professional manner. Everything went smoothly and back in my room the nursing staff and ancillary staff were such an inspiration. The hospital can rightly be very proud of them. The physio team steered me through my rehabilitation so such a degree I am two weeks ahead of schedule.

I have had an excellent experience under the care of Mr Marciniak. He explained the procedure and how surgery could improve my lifestyle as my mobility was very limited. I have had an excellent pre and post op experience by him and his team to ensure my recovery went well - they are are very caring and knowledgeable team. I felt that he listened to me and my concerns and was able to aliviate worries about surgery. I am now 6 week post surgery and I'm walking further than I have done in years all thanks to Mr Marciniak - I can't thank him enough!!
