I had been experiencing severe pain in my back, bnittocks and legs for several months after a fall I had steroid injections in my back at a private hospital, but it didn't help. I then went to see MrAylott Aylott at the Harley Street Hospital. Mr Aylott examined me and went into my medical history. From the beginning I felt at ease with Mr Aylott and confidence in him He explained very clearly the procedure he thought I needed along with the risks and likely outcomes. I decided to go ahead. After a few days I had a pre-op assessment and about a week later went for the procedure. One thing worried me, the fact that there was no hospital stay after the op. Mr Aylott assured me that this was normal procedure for my op. On the day of the op everything went smoothly. All the staff were friendly and professional. After the op I rested for about four hours and was then discharged. I was able to walk out to my taxi, with a crutch. The amazing thing was that I was completely pain free. It was wonderful. Now, nearly two months after the operation I am slowly regaining my walking ability and am still pain free. I still use a crutch for longer walks, but not around the house. Once again, thank you Mr Aylott and all your team, from the administrative staff to the medical people. .

I had a fantastic experience with Mr Aylott. After suffering from lower back pain for many years and attending several disappointing NHS appointments, Mr Aylott was finally able to diagnose the cause of my pain. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. I had my initial consultation, MRI scan, and the results all on the same day—something that feels almost unheard of nowadays. Just a couple of weeks later, I underwent a procedure that has significantly reduced my back pain and greatly improved my quality of life. I'm so grateful I found Mr Aylott and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone suffering from back problems.

Mr Aylott is a man bereft of self-doubt, whose confidence is commensurate with his competence. My lumbar spine operation was a little fiddly; the outcome was immaculate - for which I am very grateful. The facilities and staff at The UK Spine Centre were also exceptional. Something as serious as surgery justifies investing in the very best, and Mr Aylott merits the appellation.

Mr Aylott very carefully explained what was happening and why I have back pain. He pointed out where in my spine the issue was and what could be done. Reassuringly my issue is mechanical with only a small area of arthritis in two facet joints. Physio was recommended and he provided the name of an excellent physio here in Cheltenham. If the pain comes back I could consider the injection. I was so impressed I recommended him to my son who has made an appointment to see him in London.

Mr Aylott diagnosed what the problem was and was direct and clear in explaining the issue and the treatment options I had available to me. It was reassuring to know that there were options available that would help and that we could start with those that were minimally invasive.

I cannot recommend the Harley Street Spine Centre highly enough. After suffering from chronic back pain for several years, I was at the point where I could hardly walk. I had already been through the process at Spire Hospital in Newcastle, which involved an initial consultation, then separate appointments for an X-ray, the results, an MRI scan, and finally another appointment for the diagnosis. The whole process took around eight weeks just to identify the problem. I then had spinal injections, but unfortunately they made very little difference to my pain. Wanting a second opinion, I travelled from Newcastle to the Harley Street Spine Centre in London, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Mr Aylott is clearly an expert in his field. From the moment I met him, he made me feel welcome and at ease. He is approachable, friendly, and his bedside manner is second to none. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I fully understood my diagnosis and treatment options. What really impressed me was how efficient the entire process was. My initial consultation, imaging, and diagnosis were all completed on the same day. Within just a few hours, Mr Aylott had identified the cause of my pain, and within two weeks I had received targeted spinal injections. The results have been incredible. Within days, my back pain had reduced dramatically, and the improvement in my quality of life has been nothing short of life-changing. I can now do things that had become incredibly difficult, and I finally feel like I’m getting my life back. If you’re struggling with ba...

I wish i had come to Mr Aylott sooner. The processs was so easy from start to finish with consultation, MRI and results all in one day. He diagnosed where he believed my pain started from ( which I had been led to believe was somewhere else by other professionals). I booked to have 4 spinal block injections a month later. I am now two months post injections virtually pain free with only the odd niggle. I have more mobility in my hips and back and am not scared that I will do any more damage, thanks to Mr Aylott for reassuring me. Should my pain return there is now a plan in place as we know the root of it and i would not hesitate to return. I highly recommend the Spine Centre UK and Mr Aylott.

Mr Aylott has been diagnosing and treating me for the last four years. In this time he has operated and carried out other procedures that have given me great pain relief and meant I can continue to live a very active life. I much appreciate his direct approach to problems, his clarity in explaining options and his undoubted clinical ability.
