I cannot thank Mr El Gizawy enough for the exceptional care and support I received throughout my treatment for endometriosis and adenomyosis. After dealing with the physical pain and emotional challenges that come with these conditions, I finally felt that I was truly listened to, understood, and taken seriously. From my first consultation through to my surgery and recovery, Mr El Gizawy was incredibly professional, compassionate, and reassuring. Mr El Gizawy was recommended to myself through a number of colleagues for his care, professionalism and expertise with complex endometriosis. Mr El Gizawy is very kind, caring and knowledgeable throughout my experience. He presented a range of options to me and clearly outlined the risks and benefits of all the avaliable treatments to myself along with his professional recommendations, at no point during my care did he try to dictate what I should do, simply present me with recommendations based on his years of expertise whilst always valuing my opinion. Preservation of my fertility was an important factor in choosing my treatment and I opted for surgery. Unfortunately I did not have the luxury of medical insurance, as a self care patient Mr El Gizawy did his best to ensure I was informed about costs prior to consenting to treatment an of course reminded me that if at any point cost became too much he would of course see me in on his NHS surgical waitlist. I am now recovering very well from a complex robotic endometriosis excision surgery including a bowel resection. I would thoroughly recommend Mr El-Gizawy to anyone looking for treatment of their endometriosis and any other gynaecological conditions

After years of living with pain, Mr El Gizawy was the first person to truly take my symptoms seriously. An ultrasound confirmed I had endometriosis, and he arranged an MRI, which revealed I had Stage 4 bladder endometriosis and mild adenomyosis. From the very beginning, Mr El Gizawy created a clear treatment plan and explained every step of the process. He arranged for me to undergo robotic surgery at The Christie in Manchester, taking the time to explain exactly what the surgery involved and reassuring me throughout. He also organised for a bladder specialist, Mr Gulamhusein, to be part of my surgical team, ensuring I had the right experts involved in my care. I am now seven weeks post-op and have had two menstrual cycles with absolutely no bladder symptoms or pelvic pain. After years of daily pain and constant bladder issues, the difference is unbelievable. The surgery has truly changed my life. I will always be grateful to Mr El Gizawy for listening to me, believing me, and giving me my quality of life back. His expertise, compassion, and dedication have made an immeasurable difference to my life, and I cannot thank him enough.

My experience with Mr El Gizawy was absolutely pleasant. It was an emotional period for me and he was so supportive, kind, and polite. He spent time assuring me as a patient, patiently explained all procedures and answered every question. He has a calming and relaxing presence which instantly made me feel relaxed and in good hands. Mr El Gizawy (Consultant Gynaecologist) was very polite, calm, friendly and kind, and took his time to clearly explain everything to us. He put our minds at ease, and we were very impressed. My robotic surgery and recovery was very successful. It was a complex surgery, and so we are very grateful that all went well thanks to Mr El-Gizawy. I was further impressed by the team of anaesthetists including Maria Kosmidou, who took away all my anxiety by joking and engaging with me just before the surgery. I would gladly recommend this consultant and hospital to anyone seeking exceptional medical care.

One mistake disturbed my 2 years and still suffering .

I feel like a new person Mr Gizawy has given me my life back again, I had a total hysterectomy after being in pain for many years and after 7 weeks I’m pain free, he is one of the best consultants/surgeons I have had and would recommend him 100%
