I booked a consultation for my daughter, Olivia P,with Mr Robert Sutcliffe on Monday 24th November 2025 at 2.00pm. With Olivia’s full consent, I handled all communication on her behalf due to her work commitments. Before the appointment, Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary contacted me to ask whether the consultation could be moved to the following week. I explained that we were due to travel abroad for three weeks to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. She advised she would discuss this with Mr Sutcliffe. She later called back to confirm that, in light of our circumstances, Mr Sutcliffe was happy to keep the original appointment — which he honoured. I accompanied Olivia to her consultation. Mr Sutcliffe was exceptionally thorough. He examined her carefully, explained his diagnosis with clarity and compassion, and put both of us completely at ease as he outlined the next steps. He requested a further liver function blood test, which Olivia had done at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton. I asked Nuffield Health to send the results to both Mr Sutcliffe and Olivia’s GP, which was done. Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary informed me as soon as the results were received and assured me they would be reviewed promptly. True to her word, Mr Sutcliffe reviewed the results quickly. His secretary then advised that he had no concerns and that our planned follow-up in the New Year could go ahead as arranged. I would also like to note that, as we were leaving Harborne Hospital, we happened to see Mr Sutcliffe leaving at the same time. It was clear he had come in specifically to see Olivia that day, knowing we were travelling abroad — something he was under no obligation to do. As a family, we found this gesture incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated it. Throughout the entire process, Mr Sutcliffe could not have been more helpful, supportive or empathetic. I am truly grateful that we can now go away on our family celebration holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing my daughter is under the care of such a capable, caring and dedicated professional. Dr Matthew Robert Gibson

After seeing one doctor who was very much "your body will get used to it", so glad to find Dr Gibson who was more sympathetic to my symptoms. A few months (and two negative FNA's) later I have now had one session of RFA to shrink some annoying thyroid nodules. Early days, but fingers crossed symptoms will start to go away soon. Dr Gibson throughout has been very good, and has a very calm and nice way about him that puts you at ease when your not sure what to expect. All 3 procedures I have had have been well explained to me and I have been well looked after by him and his team of nurses, everyone very good at checking you are ok thoughtout too. He has also been very understanding and helpful regards my job situation and loss of Bupa cover. In the franticness of the Royal Berks Hospital (not there fault, just very busy!) his calmness helped settle my nerves and it was very much a case of anticipation being well worse than the procedure itself. Fingers crossed the procedure works for me, early days, but would definitly recommend it to anyone ahead of thyroid removal for anyone whos thyroid is working fine. I would recommend him 100%! (Although he was a little mean having a cup of tea with me just before the RFA when I wasnt allowed anything! But I'll let him off that bit)

I met Dr. Peter Hill at the Cleveland Clinic on 29th November 2025. It appeared to be a very busy clinic, but Dr. Hill took his time to see me. Dr. Hill was extremely professional and focused . He took a comprehensive medical history, performed a meticulous clinical examination, and carefully reviewed all previous investigations by by Urologist and GP which I had sent across to Rosie in advance. Dr. Hill provided a clear and detailed explanation of my kidney situation and set out an appropriate plan for ongoing monitoring. He took my my parents medical history into consideration and relevant blood markers to be included for me, promptly arranging a specific scan. His manner was calm, respectful, and reassuring throughout. This was one of the most thorough and patient centred consultations I have ever experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hill to anyone seeking expert nephrology care.

I recently had my gallbladder removed due to having chronic cholecystitis, and chose to have this done by Professor Rob at the Spire hospital due to his outstanding experience and reviews. This was my first ever procedure/surgery, so I was feeling quite anxious about it. From start to finish, Rob made me feel super comfortable and at ease. He explained my condition thoroughly at the initial assessment; even drew me a lovely diagram! He answered all my questions and reassured me how straight forward it would be. The whole experience was excellent and impressive, including the short stay at the hospital. I told my family/friends, if I had another gallbladder to lose, I would do it all again tomorrow! Best first time experience for a surgery. Highly recommend Rob and this hospital for treatment. Thank you very much to Rob and his team.

My surgeon and nurse continued that same level of warmth and support throughout my aftercare. Their reassurance, responsiveness, and genuine concern for my wellbeing meant more to me than they probably realise. Their care and attention were truly outstanding — compassionate, professional, and heartfelt in every way. I am so thankful to each and every one of them, and I could not recommend Kingsbridge highly enough.

My experience has been outstanding. From the first phone call to leaving the thornbury hospital. Hannah the centre manager and Farqi treated me amazingly. I felt safe in the cleanest, calmest environment. The information I received was top notch and I have never experienced such kindness to me. Dr Ibrahim was very kind and I felt that someone was finally listening to me after many months. The staff at the Royal Hallamshire, particularly Nancy and Lisa also went the extra mile and again were very kind. This was my 2nd visit to the Women’s Hormone Health Clinic at the One Hospital Ashford. I thought that at 67 I was too old to take HRT having been fobbed off 25yrs ago & so just battled on but I bravely made an appointment with Lexi Minter. My well being has changed in so many ways in only three months from starting an HRT course tailored for my age and concerns. My skin has improved so much & doesn’t feel it’s going to fall off. I have my energy back in spades & im advised my bones will also benefit. It goes to show it’s never too late to start HRT & I know I’m getting the best guidance.
