Dr Usamah Jannoun is a sports and exercise medicine consultant who treats back pain and musculoskeletal problems. His consultation times are 1 hour for a new patient and 30 minutes for a follow-up, which allows for a comprehensive clinical evaluation, an ultrasound examination if necessary, and subsequent discussions of his findings. His patients have given positive feedback for his manner, professionalism, and patient involvement. He ensures that his patients are aware of the best and most recent therapies available, and he employs a step-ladder evidence-based approach.

In view of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, his practice is consistent with current recommendations from the Royal College of Physicians, the UK Government, Public Health England, and the Faculty of Pain Medicine.

Dr Jannoun is held in high regard by other consultants, general practitioners, and allied health professionals. He has extensive experience treating sportspeople of all levels, as well as professional athletes, in sports such as rugby, PGA Golf, Premier League Football, LTA Tennis, England Cricket, UK Boxing, Triathlon, rowing, horse riding, and Ironman.

His clinics offer a one-stop approach to assessment (same-day ultrasound, CT, X-ray, MRI) and treatments (ultrasound-guided injections and spinal injections under X-ray and CT guidance). CT guided injections are a new treatment in the UK, allowing for greater precision, safety, and speed of procedures in the best interests of patients. Dr Jannoun also uses The Wellington Hospital's operating rooms for procedures requiring sedation.

Dr Jannoun served as the lead consultant sports physician for the London Olympics and Paralympics in 2012. He evaluates and instructs other consultants and delivers lectures all over the world.
