The assessment visit was fine in that I walked away with a clear diagnosis and a plan, but the experience was a little hectic due to cleaners coming in to prepare for the next appointment while we were still there, and the dr needing to take urgent calls as she was on duty at the time. The team I speak with are all very friendly but there seems to be a disconnect between the information exchanged on emails and whatsapp. I feel this may have led to a delay in starting treatment. Again, it's fine because I got it in the end, but there may be some part of the process/line of communication that needs review/improving. My initial virtual visit was at risk of being cancelled due to where I was having the call from. Thankfully, the doctor was able to accommodate another slot on the same day. I noticed that there is now a clear statement on the booking confirmation re: need to be in a private space for virtual calls, which is good.

I recently underwent surgery at Kingsbridge Private Hospital, and I genuinely cannot put into words how grateful I am for the incredible care I received. From the moment my procedure was over, the nurses were by my side — kind, patient, and so comforting. They made me feel safe and completely at ease during a time that could have been overwhelming. My surgeon and nurse continued that same level of warmth and support throughout my aftercare. Their reassurance, responsiveness, and genuine concern for my wellbeing meant more to me than they probably realise. Their care and attention were truly outstanding — compassionate, professional, and heartfelt in every way. I am so thankful to each and every one of them, and I could not recommend Kingsbridge highly enough.

I went to see Mr Otify after seeing another consultant, which had dismissed my symptoms as womb pain. I had been in pain for over 12 months, it was making life very hard and sometimes the pain was unbearable. Mr Otify did not dismiss my symptoms or my thoughts. He is very easy to talk to and listens. We quickly came up with a plan . I had surgery 5 weeks ago, total hysterectomy and removed endometriosis, although I am still recovering from surgery, the pain I was experiencing has now gone. I had my follow up appointment the other day, he explained everything he did during surgery and his findings. I would most certainly recommend going to see mr Otify , it was the best decision I made and I can not fault him as a person or as a surgeon.

My experience has been outstanding. From the first phone call to leaving the thornbury hospital. Hannah the centre manager and Farqi treated me amazingly. I felt safe in the cleanest, calmest environment. The information I received was top notch and I have never experienced such kindness to me. Dr Ibrahim was very kind and I felt that someone was finally listening to me after many months. The staff at the Royal Hallamshire, particularly Nancy and Lisa also went the extra mile and again were very kind. We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

Best to make sure someone attends with you to ask the questions you might be to groggy to ask at the time. Would be nice if staff shared communication as I have frozen shoulder and I only had chance to tell the lovely Laura staff nurse who reasured me. Dr Ahmed introduced himself and Ruby too...I had to ask what they found and was given printed details at the end. Overall positive. Thank you!

From the consultation to the end results, Mr Mohan was professional and responsive. He has a skill of recognising what needs to be done for my frame and body shape. I no longer have loose skin and have a flat tummy (wearing size 8-10!). The opportunity to have two consultants operating in their expert fields meant I got the best results. I would strongly recommend the Abdominal Wall Clinic.
