Everything was perfect. X-ray team is the best team possible and they have the best machines available, reception team is incredibly fast in answering all queries. Of course, Mr. Cascarini is probably the best maxillofacial surgeon over the world. He can do all kind of procedures in the jaw and he can detect and correct what probably no other or very few maxillofacial surgeons in the world can do. I am from Spain and I had a problem related to the trigeminal nerve which caused me terrible pains, one of the most difficult problems in current medicine. In my country, Spain, no one could fix it and I visited quite a few maxillofacial surgeons over the past years. Mr. Cascarini was the only one who detected all problems and fixed it all. Mr. Cascarini saved my life and my family who were devastated with my problem which has no solution in Spain. I will be grateful for life to Mr Cascarini and team. I think all people in the world should go at least to one consultation with Mr. Cascarini to check their jaw and put their jaw in the position their jaw should be as a bad jaw is the cause of many problems in life. Jaws are very different and have many intricacies and Mr. Cascarini know them all. People would be thankful for life to Mr. Cascarini and team.

This is my first round of IVF. I specifically traveled to this clinic in Barcelona from another European country, as they have been very receptive and clear on the whole process. I received all the information (in my own language) and the necessary assistance both while away and in Spain. I had excellent results, which I did not expect. And as I write this review, not yet knowing if the cycle has gone to full fruition, I am happy the team has done everything well to give me the best chance. They respect the patient's schedule and needs, considering the added logistical challenges of international travel involved, and have been available throughout for visits and check-ups based on my menstrual cycle, I never felt constrained by their own schedule, but have been treated respectfully, humanly and kindly throughout. I'm happy with the whole team, and in particular I was followed by Dr. Karin Desco. She was ready to see me at every appointment and provide me with all the information I requested, even by email, guiding me step by step along the way. What can I say... I recommend this clinic to anyone wishing to follow this long and challenging path.

This was my first time visiting. I came from Chesterfield due to reading the reviews and seeing this seemed like a really good service. I’m happy to say that it is after now going first hand. Even though it’s far away from me I would go back due to the service and care I received. I managed to get booked in the same week I booked. On arrived I was greeted by a lady at reception and was checked in and told to help myself to a drink there is a coffee machine / water etc. I used the bathroom while I was there which was well stocked and very clean. Next was my appointment time and Dr Poonam Pradhan came and called me on meeting her I could feel her warmth and care and she put me at ease straight away. She was very informative and made the whole process a lot smoother and easy as I do have quite high anxiety and it was a smear test. I am very happy with how I was treated here and cannot thank them enough.

We have recently met with Dr Asgerally twice to seek answers regarding our daughter’s eczema, and both appointments have been extremely helpful. During our first appointment, he was able to identify the type of eczema and put together a clear treatment plan, as well as suggesting allergy testing. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions, and followed up afterwards with a written summary. At our most recent appointment, he provided further clarity around potential causes linked to allergies and again outlined a clear plan moving forward. We really appreciated how attentive, knowledgeable, and reassuring he was throughout the process. We feel much more confident about managing our daughter’s condition and are very grateful for his support and guidance.

The Focal Therapy Clinic

I visited Alan Doherty in July 2025 to ask if my case would be suitable for Focal Therapy. I had been refused a prostatectomy by Nottingham NHS and I was searching for an alternative option. Mr Doherty and his experts did a very detailed analysis of my MRI and decided my tumour was not in the right place for Focal Therapy. However he said he would carry out a prostatectomy if I wanted. I was concerned about side effects but he talked me through the risks and was very reassuring. He said he had done hundreds of these operations and would expect a successful outcome. My operation was in October and everything happened exactly as planned with an excellent outcome. I cannot recommend Alan Doherty and the Focal Clinic highly enough.

I booked an appointment as I needed clarification on what was causing my shoulder problem, x-rays showed nothing. It was easy to book and my appointment came through almost immediately. The specialist I saw diagnosed what he suspected the problem was, but also booked me in for an MRI scan to confirm. Treatment was booked quickly and has helped a great deal and I will be seeing him again shortly to discuss results. I was self funding and this is expensive, but was well worth it, however I have now asked my doctor to give me a referral in case any further treatment is required.
