I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Jonathan Collier for the exceptional care and expertise he provided during my treatment for severe maxillofacial trauma involving two broken jaws, following a serious accident. From the very beginning, Mr. Collier gave me clear, honest, and professional advice about the best possible treatment options, which gave me great confidence and reassurance. The level of care I received before, during, and after the surgery was outstanding. The surgery itself was performed with great skill, and the post-operative care was excellent. I was contacted daily by Mr. Collier’s team to check on my recovery, offer guidance, and make sure I was doing well. Their constant support meant a great deal to me. After the surgery, all the necessary medications, painkillers, and mouth-care products were thoughtfully prepared and given to me in one bag. This was extremely helpful, as I was not in a condition to go out and buy supplies myself. It allowed me to go straight home and focus entirely on my recovery. Overall, I felt genuinely cared for and supported throughout the entire process. Everything was explained clearly and compassionately, and I genuinely felt listened to. The level of expertise is exceptional, but what impressed me most was the kindness and care shown throughout the entire visit. It’s rare to find a clinic that balances world‑class medical knowledge with such personalised attention. I left feeling informed, supported, and very grateful. I highly recommend London Gynae to anyone looking for excellent women’s health care in London.

Reception staff were very helpful both on arrival and when leaving the centre. The medical staff were very knowledgeable & took time to explain everything that would be part of the procedures. The doctor and his team of nurses worked very well together, a well run team. I liked the idea that a nurse remained beside me throughout all the procedures, explaining things as they happened. The recovery room nurse was very attentive and very helpful in her explanation of the printouts following the procedures. The discharge staff in the discharge waiting room provided a very welcome cup of tea and a slice of toast. I had been fasting for over 24 hours by that stage.

The imaging team — particularly R. Wilson and L. Kuriakose — were outstanding. Their efficiency, professionalism, and the way they worked with me throughout the treatment were superb. In contrast, communication from the reception team was limited. There was little information provided regarding waiting times or updates, and my next of kin were not kept informed about what was happening or how long the process might take. This created unnecessary uncertainty during an already stressful time. Parking was also extremely challenging, to the point where travelling by train would likely have been easier.

Experience OK but to have to travel 80 mile round trip with 24 hrs notice was stressful, for the pre-accessment which I had to ask for, as not arranged. If I had been told on the information letter that if I was taking antibiotics I would need to have 4 weeks clear before I could have my procedure, this would have prevented me from excepting the procedure date I had been given. Therefore would have given the date to someone else. I had two weeks notice of my procedure which is OK if all information had been given to me. Find the administration side lacking. Lovely staff. .

The waiting area felt like a barricaded corridor that was set up to harvest organs down the back of an alleyway. With the scales about a stretch of an arm away from the tightly seated row of patients looking directly at you, not much was existent of privacy. The room that I went into for pre op observation could be mistaken for the entrance door to a toilet cubicle. Inside was much similar. Repeated knocking from other staff member during your appointment also made the whole thing seem rushed. It didn’t feel like England, let alone Spencer.
