For 6 years I have been suffering with severe abdominal pain, I have been in and out of hospital over this period of time, having seen many doctors & consultants, had multiple scans and tests etc, was put on too many medications to name, nobody picked up what the problem really was, that was until I met Dr Raza, and thank God I did! From the first scan he performed, he diagnosed Endometriosis, this had never been mentioned to me, his diagnosis was stage 3 deep infiltrating endometriosis, Dr Raza has performed robotic surgery to clear the disease, having said one of the worst cases he has ever dealt with. Approaching 4 weeks post op, I have just been to see Dr Raza, and he is over the moon at how incredible my wound has healed, one incision only via the belly button, he was really proud of his work, and absolutely so he should be, to me, he is my hero, he is truly one of the most gentle men I have ever met, along with his nurse Denia, who has been my rock throughout my recovery period. I cannot advocate Dr Raza enough, 6 years of my life totally wasted backwards and forwards in and out of hospital to no avail, until now, thank you Dr Raza and Denia, for making my future look so very much brighter, you are my saviour, and I’m proud to call myself your patient. Thank you for everything and I would not hesitate to come back to you if I need too❤️

Sadia is an extraordinary person and consultant- we couldn’t imagine the birth of our son without her! Following IVF I had quite a few anxieties about pregnancy and birth (my greatest life fear!) and choosing to work with Sadia was the best decision. Throughout our ongoing appointments she helped interpret scans/ test results, monitor concerns and was available on Whatsapp whenever we needed (weekend and nights included). I fell unwell 5 days before I was due to go in for our c section but throughout this experience in hospital Sadia was there to lead the treatment plan and it was incredibly reassuring to have a constant, expert guiding next steps with someone who knew me and the baby well already. The c section itself was amazing and the most incredible and surreal experience of my life (not the scary surgery I’d built it up to be) and this was largely down to Sadia’s professional, calm and practical approach in every step, alongside the great team she assembled for the operation. My recovery has been far better than expected and the scar incredibly neat. Looking to the future, I would 100% work with Sadia if we manage to have another child and recommend her to anyone looking for continuous and amazing support and expertise throughout pregnancy and birth. We can’t thank Sadia enough!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly blown away by this service I’m nearly 80 now, and I can’t even count how many doctor visits I’ve had in my life, but MyDoctor by Northern Health honestly left me a bit blown away. I wasn’t expecting much — you get used to being rushed through at my age — but I came off the call feeling like someone had finally taken the time to actually explain my own health to me. It felt different from the moment it started. No rushing, no talking over me, no making me feel like I was being dramatic. Just calm, proper care. I felt listened to in a way I haven’t in years. I actually felt like… well, like a person again, not someone they’re trying to hurry out the door. For the first time I understand what’s been setting things off, and what I need to do next time before it all gets too much. That alone is worth gold to me. I’ve been muddling along for years without this clarity. I’m honestly amazed. At my age you don’t expect to be surprised by much anymore, but this really did it. In September 2025 Dr Mohsin Hussain carried out an emergency angioplasty on me and applied stents to my right carotid artery He explained clearly what was happening at each stage of the procedure which re-assured me In October 2035 I had a meeting with Dr Hussain to review the progress of my recovery and plan next steps. He showed me images the original blockage and another area in the LMCA We agreed to a further procedure with a pressure wire in November. Dr Hussein discussed details with me before the operation and during the procedure gave me the numbers so that I could decide whether a stent should be applied After the operation Dr Hussein discussed the procedure that had been carried out. He is a skilled doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He is very clear in his explanations to his patients which gives his patients confidence that the procedures being carried out are the right ones for them He also contacts patients after their discharge to ensure that they are progressing well He is very professional and approachable

A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

Overall experience with Dorset Heart Clinic is excellent. We telephoned to book the appointment and able to choose the time that is convenient to us. As a self funded patient, the appointment is very speedy. Administrator is also very informative and helpful including parking. The consultation is very informative and reassuring. We have chosen to see the consultant that we have seen via the NHS as he would be familiar with our condition. The emails followed up also very quick and timely with the consultation report for us to keep for our records. Any concerns have been dealt with swiftly. Overall, a very good experience and have already booked a follow up next month. Thank you Dr Chahal and thank you Tim.

My recent visit was positive as always, everyone is always warm and welcoming from the moment you step into the door. The office is clean and inviting and always decorated according to the season’s festive calendar, which always a nice touch. I admired the snowflakes decal on the windows giving it a cosy festive feel and fairy lights as I was getting my treatment! I have been seeing Lil for years now and she is absolutely amazing, I feel like a different person when I walk out the practice, in the best way possible. Also, if something else is bothering me she always makes time to take a look and do the necessary adjustments or advise on what exercises to do, or see a GP!

My overall experience was excellent. However when I got home I found I wasn't completely sure/ had forgotten exactly when and how to take all the medicines I was given and when to stop e.g. how slowly to reduce the codeine when I didn't need it any more. Clearly printed instructions to take home would have been reassuring straight away and later. I know I could have rung the Horder Centre any time for advice but at 82 years old my hearing is less than perfect and I worry I shall not remember everything I hear afterwards. The Horder hip replacement book is excellent and is still a constant source of referral and encouragement.
