Waited for a while to be seen. Once seen, there was a feeling of being rushed and getting the consultation over with which was so dissapointing and not something I was expecting, after waiting for over a month for the session. I kept asking questions and follow up questions to keep the session going, but got basic and unsatisfactory answers. I have heard of other consultations lasting at least 40min from friends and family but I got barely half of that, after getting the impression the Doctor wanted me gone. The most shocking part of the consultation was the Googling of my symptons and condition and reading out advice found on the internet. How is that acceptable from a paid service? I can research and Google my symptons myself which I have already done and a Doctor searching for answers so obviously, was shocking to see, especially from someone who is meant to be a professional in their field. So dissapointing and such a waste of money. I feel cheated and the medicine given to me on prescription was the second choice after me protesting that prescribing medicine shown in Google results and stuff I have tried already is not going to work. I was hoping for professional advice and recommendations, sadly I never got that. Just verbal internet results. Even the medicine proscribed can be bought over the counter without a prescription. A waste of a trip, so dissapointing.

Great experience wit Paul Deane. I had been suffering with lower back and hip pain for more than a year after Padel injury and seen 7-8 different specialists: consultants, osteopaths, chiropractors, other physios, tried acupuncture, shock wave therapy and was considering steroid injections. As I understand and as per MRI, it was bulging discs, labral tear and gluteal tendinopathy. Despite all the various treatments the pain was still there, so I stopped playing Padel, running, even swimming, even walking for more than 10 minutes was painful and I was slowly turning into a couch potato, which made me quite depressed! Thanks goodness a consultant recommended physio with Paul Deane, and after just 4 sessions with Paul and after doing the exercises he prescribed for just about three weeks, I have started to see a massive improvement. Pain is decreasing, affected muscles are getting stronger, walking is no longer painful, so I am confident that with this rate I will return to my usual self and even a stronger self in a couple of months. Exercises are simple to follow, and fun to do. Paul's instructions are clear, he listens to me and adjusts/tweaks the exercises when necessary and I will continue seeing Paul for the next several months until full recovery. Thanks for helping me get my life back!

I recently completed my final assessment with Dr Edney Boston-Griffiths through My New Self and I can honestly say the experience has been both positive and inspiring. Edney has been a consistently supportive and motivating presence throughout my journey — professional, empathetic and genuinely invested in helping me make progress. As one of the pilot participants, I had the privilege of working with a tailored team of MNS Experts — from fitness coaches to cognitive therapists — all contributing unique insight and expertise. Understandably, there were a few teething and technical issues along the way (as you’d expect from a pioneering platform in its early stages), but these never detracted from the value of the programme itself. The concept behind My New Self is truly fantastic — an integrated, evidence-based approach to wellbeing that connects mind and body in a practical, personalised way. I look forward to seeing how the team refines the video content, CRM and AI technologies to enhance delivery even further. Once these developments are in place, I would absolutely love to revisit the programme and experience its full potential. In short: a brilliant concept, an outstanding team, and a platform with enormous promise.

Mr Gleeson did a reconstruction ACL surgery on my left knee (previous ACL surgery was 12 years ago, and then re-tore that same ACL rock climbing). All my options, pros/cons, and risks were clearly explained, and it was clear that Mr Gleeson wanted what was best for me. I chose to have the reconstruction surgery, and felt safe and informed throughout the whole process. While I'm sure this is unique to my own circumstances, I found that: the pain post-surgery was very minimal when managed with medication, and my recovery was smooth and fast. As I write this review about 7 months later, I am back to cycling, running, and hiking. I wanted to regain functionality to live an active life (I'm no star athlete, but in my mid-30s and enjoy the outdoors). The muscle mass on my left side is still not quite a match for my right side, and I know a dedication to physical therapy/training could fix this. My goal was to get back to the level of being able to enjoy moderate activities that I was at before, and I have achieved that, thanks to Mr Gleeson, and my lovely physical therapist!

This was my second operation here but unfortunately not a great experience. I never met my actual consultant before or after the op. The anaesthetist wasn't very re assuring as I was very nervous. He was abrupt and very rough and the epidural was dreadful compared to my first one which I never felt. The nursing staff were excellent which was lovely when you're feeling rough but I'm afraid the experience this time was totally different and quite disappointing. I had retention of urine problems following the op and numbness still across my lower back. After finding a hip replacement forum apparently many people have bladder problems following the operation. I find it strange that this is not mentioned as a possibility before the operation. After my very successful knee replacement I was hoping for the same this time however this was not the case which is quite upsetting considering the cost.

Hiba is an outstanding physio: incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely committed to helping you get better. I had attended the appointment with orthopedist... Im absolutely satisfy. He had confirmed what I was thinking it may he wrong. I had excellent explanations and given options how to deal with my issue. I got referred further to do some scans. I definitely recommend to use all services available. Im a returning patient and can not fault it at all. Of course its private and expensive but you owe to see a doctor fave to fave and you get personal centred one to one help. Short time! Via NHS it would be cheep but minimum 6 months waiting. Best customer service.

Mr Jaiswal is a fantastic orthopedic surgeon, he has a great bedside manner and really took the time to understand my ongoing pain and degeneration in my hips due to my rheumatoid arthritis and listened to my experiences and didn't push for smaller procedures when ultimately we knew that I would need total hip replacements for both hips. He has also got a wonderful team around him who respect him as a consultant and he is teaching good habits both for bedside manner but also in all of the clinical aspects of care.

He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and such a lovely person too, I cannot thank him enough for everything that he has done for me so far.

To say I was impressed would be not give my experience the credit it deserves. I have little to add to my overall rating. I have only given 4 stars for bedside manner because, in the nature of these things, Mr Sullivan was not at my bedside for long. Having said that his initial consultation was informative, the operation went well and the post-op consultation was again very helpful in making me aware of what I could do and expect in the coming weeks. I would recommend Mr Sullivan to anyone looking for a surgeon to perform a hip replacement.
