Dr Dana Shor

As per all appointments with Dr Shor, she listens, answers any questions that we have. She gives clear and understandable information regarding treatment options. She lets us know if blood test etc are not quite right without worrying us too much. The most important thing is she treats you as a human being not a number, which isn’t always easy knowing how stressed/stretched NHS Oncologists are. My Mum feels so comfortable in appointments and never feels that appointments are rushed. Mum and I feel in complete safe hands and that has a lot to do with time spent talking to Dr Shor during appointments. Thank you

I have found Dr Shor to be empathetic and professional.

Dr Shor was as always clear and informative, and very warm and encouraging. She inspires trust and confidence, Her recommended radiotherapy and chemotherapy was successful. She is also very attentive to any other health problems or worries, prescribing extra medication where needed.. I could not wish for a better doctor to handle my cancer treatment. and respond to my overall health condition..

It has been a privilege to have been under Dr Shor’s care since early September. She is an excellent active listener who exhibits a high degree of emotional intelligence & empathy. Her advice is as considered as it is cogent; she explains the issues at hand clearly, appropriately tailoring her delivery to match the patient’s understanding, including checks to ascertain that they have accurately processed what she is communicating. She is extremely generous with her time and great at leaving the patient feeling that it really is all about them.
