My experience at HCA Healthcare UK London Bridge Hospital was exceptionally positive from start to finish. I underwent a radical prostatectomy performed by Mr Declan Cahill, and I could not have felt more reassured throughout the entire process. First‑class hospital, staff, and facilities The hospital itself is first class — spotless, modern, and designed to make patients feel safe and comfortable. My room was excellent, and every member of staff I encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and both myself and my partner were made to feel genuinely welcome. Surgical care that inspires confidence Declan is an incredibly calming presence. His friendly, caring manner immediately puts you at ease, and he explains everything clearly and in plain English. I felt I was in safe, capable hands from the moment I met him. The theatre experience was conducted with absolute professionalism. Declan collected me from my room and walked me down to theatre, stopping along the way to point out London landmarks that he had witnessed being constructed. A really nice gesture and certainly helped to put my mind at ease. Both Declan and the anaesthetist were warm, reassuring, and focused, which made a potentially daunting moment feel surprisingly calm. Smooth recovery and attentive post‑operative care Post‑operation care was excellent. The staff were consistently attentive, understanding, and supportive. Their approach made recovery feel manageable and far less stressful than I had expected. Overall I have never felt in better hands. Declan’s expertise, combined with his calm and caring approach, made an enormous difference. The hospital, the team, and the entire experience were outstanding.

A year ago, I had surgery for fibroids, and almost a year later, on July 17, 2026, I returned to the hospital for a total abdominal hysterectomy, which was performed by Ms. Pushpakala Maharajan and her team. I was very pleased to be under the care of the same doctor again. The clinic is excellent—very clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The food was also very good. The staff were kind, professional, and always willing to help. I would like to personally thank Ms. Pushpakala Maharajan and the anesthesiologist Mark, for the excellent care they provided. I would also like to thank the day nurses, Aneta, Siji, and Sally, for their kindness and support. Night shift nurses Roxana and Anisha. Physiotherapist - Luiz. A very special thank you goes to the night nurse, Juliet. Every time I became anxious, she held my hand and reassured me. No matter how many times I needed her, she was always there with kindness, patience, and compassion. Her care made a real difference to my recovery, and I will always be grateful. I recently attended Gladstones Clinic in The Cotswolds. I have never done anything like this before and was frankly terrified. My drinking had got out of control and my family found Gladstones which is about 20 miles from where I live. Upon arrival I was greeted by the nurse, Natalie, who welcomed me and settled my nerves. I confess I had been drinking before I arrived but I was made comfortable and my detox was explained. It was a couple of days before I really felt up to groups. The other clients were very supportive. My first group was led by Irene. I’d heard she was very strict but it turned out that was what I needed. She saw through all of my bull and avoidance tactics!! The food was great, my room was comfortable and everyone was really friendly and supportive. I am now moving into one of Gladstones dry houses to continue my journey

We had spent alot of time trying to find somewhere for a private cardiology assessment to check our child's heart before starting ADHD medication. I wish we had found MUMS first as it would have saved us alot of time and stress! Information was clear on the website and we were able to ring up and have all our questions answered then book The actual appointment was brilliant. We arrived a bit early but were seen almost straight away, the receptionists were friendly and the consultant was brilliant with our child who is neurodiverse, letting him ask lots of questions and working quickly to avoid him having to wait too long. We received an initial written report immediately and will receive the full report in around a week.

We saw Mr Almeyda for an issue my son was having with snoring and what looked like an obstructed nostril. Mr Almeyda was warm and welcoming, he put my son at ease as he was quite nervous. He explained everything to him and talked to him directly rather than through me, which I really liked. Obviously he asked me questions when necessary. Thankfully we don’t need a further appointment at the moment but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Almeyda.
