I had ALT phallo with Mr Nim Christopher and was admitted for 5 days post-op, and I cannot thank the nursing staff enough for the care I received. Every nurse I encountered was professional, compassionate, and genuinely attentive. They consistently checked on me, explained things clearly, responded quickly whenever I needed help, and treated me with kindness and respect at all times. Their reassurance and calm presence made a difficult hospital stay much more comfortable and less stressful. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and truly care about their patients. The morning Nurses Kate and Erisa were extremely wonderful even though at one point there were so many patients and only 2 of them to take care of all of us, they were encouraging and they set a positive tone for each day. The night shift nurses Mo and Aliesha were reassuring and kind and always present when things felt hardest. Of course ai cannot leave out Alina who was always caring and compassionate throughout my stay. Last but certainly not least I would like the thank Mr Nim for his excellent care and support and Dr Patil for the amazing anesthesia he delivered. They were all like family to me. I’m deeply grateful for everything they did for me. Your professionalism, kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed.

I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

After seriously injuring both ankles and a long recovery, it was a complete game changer when I started treatment with my physio Steph. She was friendly and professional and quickly put me at my ease. Steph was both flexible and methodical in her approach, measuring my progress, returning to exercises regularly, which I found helpful in maintaining my focus and my momentum. Steph was responsive and adjusted exercises where necessary but generally this was not needed as she pitched the pace and level of activity to be suitably challenging. Steph was goal orientated, encouraging and solution focused. It felt like I had a clear pathway to recovery and that Steph was really committed to my well-being and focused on helping me get the best outcomes. The centre have a range of treatments available including massage, podiatry and Pilates classes so that I could benefit from a holistic approach to my injuries. Steph has explained things well to me as we have gone along so that I have understood the rationale which I have really appreciated. Her expertise and care have been a huge positive during a difficult time. Thank you to Steph and all the team, I would highly recommend The Medical.

Mr Arun Prasath Shanmuganandan

I cannot thank Dr Arun Shanmugandan enough for his diligent assessment and treatment. My condition was severe requiring multiple procedures under sedation as well surgery under general anaesthetic each completed by Arun. Arun has been exceptional in ensuring the issues were resolved completely. Even picking up on an irregularity in my blood results which led to finding an unrelated issue with my parathyroid gland. This has now also been resolved following Aruns referral, which I was also very extremely pleased with. Aruns patience and bedside manner are second to none, ensuring I understood each process every step of the way. As a 41 year old woman I was horrified to find I had so many health issues happening at once. However, Arun was able to resolve each of them in less than 6 months giving me confidence in my health moving forward. I feel 10 times better, I have so much more energy and a new lease for life. Thank you so much to Arun and his amazing team for all you have done, it has truly been life changing for me .

After experiencing debilitating dizziness on Friday 30th Jan 2026 I phoned Dr Shaw's PA Emma and she was able to book me a visit within a few days on Tuesday 3rd Feb 2026 at his private outpatients clinic in Highgate. He is a quite remarkable audiovestibular physician. I liked him a lot. His enthusiasm for the subject is infectious. The quality and effectiveness of his work with me was "top notch". His manner was very engaging and gave clear and logical information about my dizziness condition. After the examination, involving several tests, I received a specific targeted treatment manoeuvre which he advised should deal with the problem. A day after my visit I feel much improved. The dizziness has gone and I am following his direction to prevent a reoccurrence. I also really appreciated getting the results letter on the same day via the Carebit portal. Worth every penny!

Dr Miss Tania Adib has accompanied me very thoughtfully through my perimenopause treatment. She explained everything in a very clear and understandable way and took the time to answer all of my questions. She fine-tuned my hormonal therapy for perimenopause with small but very effective changes. The switch to bioidentical progesterone at night has notably reduced my sleep disruptions and night-time hot flushes, and I am now sleeping much better. The addition of testosterone has been truly life changing for me: together with improved sleep, it has restored my previous energy levels and my libido, and I feel much more like myself again. I believe testosterone is something that should be prescribed specifically for women when appropriate, as its impact can be profound, and I would definitely recommend considering this option under specialist guidance.

I recently saw Dr Neelam Potdar at Spire Hospital in Oadby after suffering with heavy periods since the age of 11, which had become particularly difficult over the last year. From the very first appointment, Dr Potdar made me feel truly heard. She listened carefully to all of my concerns, showed genuine compassion, and explained everything in a calm and reassuring way. She put a clear plan of action together immediately, which gave me so much confidence and relief. During the surgery process, Dr Potdar was incredibly kind, caring, and reassuring, making what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and safe. Of all the doctors I have seen over the years, Dr Potdar has been by far the kindest and most caring. I cannot recommend her highly enough and would encourage anyone experiencing similar issues to seek her care.

I have been under Mr Orlans’ care for almost a year now and have undergone multiple complex surgeries due to an unfortunate recurring retinal detachment. My most recent surgery being the 19th of January for a left cataract, Vitrectomy and removal of silicone oil. Despite the worries and concerns I’ve had, especially given my young age, my mother and I have continuously felt reassured from my consultations with Mr Orlans that every decision made was in the best interests of my health. Even following surgery and knowing the possible potential risks, I left feeling/knowing that I was in the safest possible hands and every risk was worth that extra chance. I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

My son attended for squint surgery on both eyes. Mr Yeo and his team were amazing and as a family we can not thank him enough. They made my 12 year old son feel at ease and explained everything they were going to do in a clear and professinal manner. Even after the surgery a member of Mr Yeo's team came to explain the next steps in my son's post-operative care. Thank you for taking such good care of our son and for all you have done. It is very much appreciated and I know this surgery will have a massive impact on the social aspect of his future as before this surgery his squint had started to impact on the things he enjoyed such as sports. He now can't wait to get back on the football pictch once he has recovered :)

In each of our consultations, I have felt seen, heard and loved. When you realise you have a heart problem, the anxiety can become immense and make matters worse. The staff that dealt with me on the day were amazing. Very nice and made me feel comfortable. There was a slight issue with the connection for the headphones but they quickly resolved it and made me feel comfortable again. The lady who showed me to the room is made for that job :) unfortunately after I did have to chase a few times for my results imagining were trying to be helpful however a receptionist I was put through to was very rude, undermining and probably one of the worse receptionist I’ve come across in a long while.

Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

I had eye sight check, 14/1/2026 a cataract was found, referral to Clarity made.Same day call from Clarity appointment made for 26/1/2926. Appointment for surgery made for 05/02/2026. Attended and I wish to bring to your notice that I was firstly dealt with by Leon who was excellent. The operation went very smoothly. Sight the next morning was very slightly blurred. I was impressed at the service supplied by Clarity from beginning to end has been excellent and I would highly recommend Clarity.

Niv Bhamber is great surgeon who listens to his patients, ensures they have all the information they need to make decisions and always follows up to check that everything is ok. He’s honest when it comes to the pain follows a total knee replacement however he also explains why it’s so important to push through the pain and do the exercises. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
