The entire journey to replace my hip joint was expertly handled by the NTC in Kirkcaldy. From the pre op through to the day of surgery everything was explained by very polite and pleasant staff. The surgery and aftercare were excellent and I was able to return home next day . The nursing staff were excellent, attentive and very caring . All of the care from physio , OT, nursing team and theatre staff was excellent. I would recommend Mr Keenan and the NTC team to anyone needing a similar surgery. Mr Keenan has given me back the ability to walk without pain . I am indebted to his skill and the entire team for their excellent care. I can now return to an active life again after suffering from joint pain for so many years . Thank you

Mr Mihai was very accessible and approachable. He was reassuring about my diagnosis although it was serious and gave a very clear recommendation for surgical treatment which was well explained. I was confident that he was very experienced in managing patients with my condition. On the day of surgery he spoke clearly to me and my wife about the planned surgical operation and gave all the relevant information for me to be able to sign the consent form; I had plenty of time to ask questions. After surgery he visited me on the ward and saw me again the next day to check I was fit for discharge and to give clear guidance for the post operative period and to explain the plan for further follow up with results.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

I had a very positive experience at my recent doctor’s appointment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel cared for. I was especially impressed that the doctors themselves came to the waiting area to welcome their patients (shake their hands 🤝) and personally guide them to the examination rooms — a small gesture that makes a big difference. I also appreciated that I was offered help without having to ask repeatedly, which has unfortunately been my experience at my local GP in the past. I had a wonderful experience at my most recent visit with Dr. Salvia at Dr Benn’s surgery. My baby had been unwell, and the clinic was able to see us quickly, which was such a relief. Dr. Salvia was calm, reassuring, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to check everything carefully and explain what was going on in a way that eased all my worries. Her kindness and gentle approach made my baby feel comfortable, and I left feeling confident and supported. I’m so grateful for her prompt attention and the genuine care she always shows. I couldn’t ask for a better GP service.

We visited Dr Sohi regarding our 16 months old daughter common cold like symptoms and high fever which lasted for 5 days. She was amazing. We have been told other paediatricians before but Dr Sohi was by far the nicest. She did a very thorough and comprehensive examination, we spent quite a lot of time in her office and never felt rushed. She also did a swab test and called us the next day to tell us the results. It was a great pleasure to meet such a professional and caring paediatrician. Our daughter felt at ease with her.

Dr Balogun was great, he has a brilliant bedside manner, was very clear in how the procedure would play out, and walked me through the meds he would prescribe and how to take them. He put me very at ease considering this treatment was my first general anaesthetic. Dr Balogun rung me back the day following the operation to check-in on me and ensure my pain level wasn’t too high. I would definitely feel comfortable in his care again.

Mr Casha certainly knows his subject and I felt like he really understood my issue. He preempted my condition very well and was able to fill in many gaps in my knowledge that had been bothering me. He is very friendly and easy to talk to and very open to questions as well. He didn’t rush things even though my appointment was quite late and very possibly his last of the day. I felt he took his time to talk to me.

I arrived before my appointment time, bought some food and a coffee from the café, and settled down with my laptop to do a little work. The waiting areas were calm, clean, and very relaxing, and I had no difficulty finding a seat. My wait to see the consultant ran just a few minutes over my scheduled time, simply because the patient before me had slightly overrun.
