Everyone was at all times friendly and quietly efficient. I was assessed via up to five impressive machines on the working day following my initial approach to the clinic. I had to approach the Clinic following the retirement of the consultant whom I had originally engaged, and who had agreed with my optician that I was ready for surgery. The initial examination at the Clinic was most impressive, and when Mr Chan met me shortly thereafter he was clearly able to make a quick assessment. He explained to me that the operation would be challenging, given the damaged condition of my eye, but he agreed with my decision to ask him to proceed. The pamphlets provided enabled me to have a good understanding of the nature of a cataract and the usual course of treatment before and after the operation. On the day of the procedure I approached without misgivings, and following a full discussion with a senior nurse who sought fuller details of my medical history, and then the application of anaesthetics by the anaesthetist, I proceeded to the operating theatre. It was good and very reassuring to be able to feel the area round my eye go numb in advance of entering the theatre. The operation was for me comfortable, and I enjoyed the soft verbal exchanges between Mr Chan and his staff, and the gentle and futuristic sounds of the surgical equipment. Afterwards, I have felt no discomfort from the after effects, and the post operation advice from another nurse has been very clear and helpful. And I am delighted with the outcome. After having been in effect virtually blind in my right eye, my vision is now clear, bright and colourful. Very much better that these current aspects of by “good” left eye! Well done everyone! I had ALT phallo with Mr Nim Christopher and was admitted for 5 days post-op, and I cannot thank the nursing staff enough for the care I received. Every nurse I encountered was professional, compassionate, and genuinely attentive. They consistently checked on me, explained things clearly, responded quickly whenever I needed help, and treated me with kindness and respect at all times. Their reassurance and calm presence made a difficult hospital stay much more comfortable and less stressful. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and truly care about their patients. The morning Nurses Kate and Erisa were extremely wonderful even though at one point there were so many patients and only 2 of them to take care of all of us, they were encouraging and they set a positive tone for each day. The night shift nurses Mo and Aliesha were reassuring and kind and always present when things felt hardest. Of course ai cannot leave out Alina who was always caring and compassionate throughout my stay. Last but certainly not least I would like the thank Mr Nim for his excellent care and support and Dr Patil for the amazing anesthesia he delivered. They were all like family to me. I’m deeply grateful for everything they did for me. Your professionalism, kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed.

We met the excellent Mr Arthur Dalton who has known me since 2023 when he led the outstanding NHS team (which included the ICU nurses) that saved my life after a brain subarahcnoid haemorrhage and, again, in 2024, when my aneurysm needed recoiling and a flow diverting stent was also inserted . This time we sought his opinion to help us decide between two treatments for a brain meningioma, after two previous consultations at another private hospital had created confusion and anxiety,. As always, with impeccable professionalism and a warm approach, he explained the pros and cons of each procedure in relation to my particular case, allowing us to finally make the decision that suited us best. It is always deeply reassuring and an absolute joy to receive Mr Dalton’s opinion. We feel extremely lucky to have met him.

All of the staff at Nuthfield were so kind. Everyone was always smiling and being happy and kind to myself and my partner. From the receptionist who told us where to go and took us to our room. To the night nurse that checked us in to the room. I had multiple nurses come and check on me throughout the time I waited to have the cystoscopy. We were able to get food before and after. We arrived at 07:00 on the 27th, and I can't remember all the lovely people's names who helped us. My only slight criticism would be from arriving at the hospital at 07:00 the actual procedure didn't start till after 09:00 and this gave me lots of time to overthink the procedure. But I think that was a me problem and I also don't know how long these things take to check people in etc. So apologies if it is standard haha.

I recently underwent a procedure at Harborne Hospital with Professor Steeds. I am very pleased with how it went. Professor Steeds is always professional and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. It's quite unsettling having a heart condition but Professer Steeds always takes the time to explain things carefully to me and he makes sure that I understand what will happen while I am in the hospital. He goes to a great deal of trouble to reassure me as a patient so that I don't worry. I would highly recommend him to anybody who has an aortic valve issue or dilated aortic root/aortic aneurysm. I am very grateful to have Professor Steve is my consultant cardiologist.

I have just had a Mohs procedure carried out by Dr Shah. From the first consultation to the subsequent procedure and then follow ups he was reassuring, providing me with all the information I required, answering any queries I had in full. The procedure was pain free and information regarding after care clear and concise. The result is that I have virtually no mark/scar - he is so skilled and painstaking at the closure of the wound. Dr Shah has been charming and totally professional through the whole experience and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

He has an excellent bedside manner and displayed a level of professionalism that is rare to find. Mr Fady Sedra went above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for. The X-Ray of my neck should be in an art gallery as it is truly a work of art by Mr Fady Sedra. I highly recommend for any complex spinal work.

I would highly recommend Mr Bhattacharyya to carry out this form of surgery (arthroscopy). He was completely clear in what options were available to me, explaining the pros and cons of each one.
