I cannot speak highly enough of the care and treatment I received from Mr Leigh Davies and his entire team. From my initial consultation, Mr Davies was extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explain my condition clearly and discuss the most appropriate treatment with me. He made me feel completely at ease throughout the examination and gave me confidence in the decision to proceed with surgery. I have now undergone my haemorrhoidectomy, and I have been incredibly impressed with the whole experience. The standard of care from Mr Davies, the anaesthetic team and every nurse involved in my treatment was absolutely exceptional. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, professional and genuinely caring from the moment I arrived until I was discharged. The procedure itself went extremely well, and I felt that I was in the safest possible hands throughout. The communication before and after the operation was excellent, and I was given clear advice and information about managing my recovery at home. From the beginning to the end of my treatment, Mr Kamath and his team showed the utmost care. It was explained to me what was required to get my foot free of the acute pain I was suffering, and now, 3 months later, I have been discharged. The complicated work that Mr Kamath carried out successfully involved a fusion of the Talonavicular, tendon swap and the accessory bone. I am back in my shoe, I purchased a Brooks Ghost 3 which will support my foot going forward, I am pain free except for an ache when I have walked a while. Recommendations: If you are non weight bearing do just that! I had a knee scooter, a great help for mobility and to my wife for helping me wash and dress. We purchased an extra boot for indoors as the outdoor boot gets extremely dirty. Use a stool in the shower. Many thanks again for the exemplary care, from Mr Kamath, Mr Kamath's secretary, and all the team.

He fitted me in at quite short notice and from my very first appointment he made me feel completely safe, comfortable and reassured. I had an excellent experience at Fairfield Independent Hospital throughout my entire treatment, from my initial appointments and surgery through to my post-operative follow-up visits. Every visit was well organised, and I consistently found the staff friendly, professional and helpful. I always felt well looked after, communication was clear, and the whole process was handled efficiently and with genuine care. My surgery went very well, and the support and follow-up I received afterwards gave me confidence that my recovery was progressing as it should. I was also very grateful that everything could be arranged around my long-planned holiday, allowing me to recover in time and enjoy the trip without the problem that had been affecting me. The clinic was friendly and clean. I was very nervous coming into the practice. It took me close to a year to finally pluck up the courage to make my appointment. . Whilst it may be a daily routine for the nurses I felt it was very rushed. The nurse was friendly but everything was explained so quickly. When someone says pre- cancerous you can’t help but suddenly catch your breath and freeze for a moment even if it’s “pre”. Please could you emphasise to the nurses to take a moment to slowly ask the patient if they have heard all the information clearly before leaving and know the next steps. Even if they feel they have to repeat themselves. They should perhaps not assume all information has been heard. I was certainly in shock. Kind regards

This was my third annual visit to The Mole Clinic, and the service I have received has been uniformly excellent. The receptionist was very apologetic about the length of time I had to wait. Nurse Jennifer was friendly and professional, clearly very knowledgeable, put me at my ease and explained everything very clearly. The report on the photos she sent to the doctor came the next day - amazingly speedy - and the follow-up call with Chloe was much appreciated - she too was obviously very well-informed, and took plenty of time to make sure I was happy with everything. I particularly appreciate the way the clinic is completely upfront about costs - not always the case with private medicine.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome, our comfort was a priority. We were made to feel at ease and offered a drink. All the staff were friendly and smiled as they walked past and were very kind, pleasant and helpful. Mr Das who we had our appointment with gave us a lot of his time, although he must be a very busy man, he made time to answer our questions and gave a very clear and thorough explanation of the treatment options available. Overall, the whole experience was an excellent one and all staff were highly professional, well trained and courteous. We didn’t feel rushed to leave after and sat and discussed our consultation afterwards in the reception area.

The gentleman on imaging reception was rude. I had cash and he said you don’t accept cash and zi should have read that on my correspondence from you. My correspondence did not mention this. Two ladies from I assume came to speak to me and decided I coujld go ahead with my injections and pay by bank transfer. They were both very kind. Sadly I haven’t received the bank details so I will telephone and offer my card details. The Doctor treating me was excellent and very caring. Trying to get an appointment was difficult. Lines always busy and The message was Someone would ring me. On two occasions I did not get a call back despite waiting all day. So not good.A. Mary C.
