I honestly don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience today I felt I absolutely had to because I genuinely cannot fault this hospital or the people who looked after me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt completely welcomed, cared for and safe. The hospital itself is beautiful, with such a lovely atmosphere, but what really makes this place exceptional is the staff. Every single person I encountered was professional, kind, compassionate, attentive and genuinely caring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Angela and Paul, the nurses looking after me on the ward, were absolutely wonderful. They made me feel so comfortable and cared for throughout my stay and were always there whenever I needed anything. And a special mention has to go to Paul for what can only be described as the world’s best tea and toast! My anaesthetist was fantastic. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name, but he was incredibly professional and reassuring and I felt completely safe in his hands going into surgery. From the moment I arrived in theatre, the atmosphere was so relaxed and reassuring. There was music playing, everyone was friendly and engaging, and there was plenty of conversation and good chat, which made the whole experience feel so much less clinical and intimidating. Alex, my recovery nurse, deserves a huge thank you too. I woke from the anaesthetic understandably in quite a lot of pain and was also sick, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was immediately on top of my pain relief and anti-sickness medication, stayed with me and made sure I was okay. My symptoms were managed so quickly and effectively that, looking back, it’s almost difficult to remember that those first moments in recovery were actually quite rough because everything surrounding them was handled with so much care. And finally, Mr Mounir, my surgeon. I honestly couldn’t have asked to be in better hands. He is incredibly professional, kind, caring and meticulous in everything he does. He took the time to go through everything with me properly, making sure I fully understood what was going to happen and that I was completely comfortable with the plan. His attention to detail and the care he shows his patients is exceptional, and I have felt completely confident in him throughout this whole process. I have always loved his work and I feel very fortunate to have had my surgery with him. I’ve been discharged home today with everything I could possibly need — clear aftercare information, pain relief, antibiotics, contact numbers and even direct access to my surgeon via WhatsApp should I have any concerns. At no point have I felt like I’ve simply had my surgery and been sent on my way. I feel genuinely looked after. Having surgery is obviously a huge thing and naturally comes with nerves, but the team made the entire experience feel safe, calm and positive. When I think about today, what stands out isn’t the pain or the sickness after my anaesthetic, it’s how incredibly well I was cared for from beginning to end. I am so grateful to every single person involved in my care. You are an absolutely incredible team and I cannot thank you enough for how you looked after me today. I would recommend this hospital, Mr Mounir and his team without hesitation. An absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish ❤️

I had a septorhinoplasty with Cardogan Clinic, performed by Dr. Thomas Jacques, earlier this year, and I am extremely pleased with my experience. From my very first consultation, Dr. Jacques’ professionalism, expertise, and approach immediately gave me confidence that I had chosen the right surgeon. Choosing someone for a procedure as personal as this was a big decision, but I felt reassured by his knowledge, experience, and genuine understanding of what I wanted to achieve. I really appreciated how open and realistic Dr. Jacques was throughout the process. We had honest conversations about what was and wasn’t possible, what would best suit my facial features, and how to achieve a natural result. I never felt pressured into making changes that weren’t right for me. Instead, I felt listened to and guided by his expertise and judgement. His brilliant surgical skill and expertise are matched by his kindness and gentle approach. Dr. Jacques was calm, reassuring, and professional throughout the consultations and on the day of surgery. I always felt that I was in safe hands and that my wellbeing was genuinely important to him. I had a number of concerns before surgery, including how any changes might affect the balance of my face, as well as some functional aspects of my nose. Every concern was taken seriously and carefully considered, which gave me complete confidence throughout the journey. Before surgery, it felt like such a big step. However, once I arrived at the clinic, the professionalism and care of the whole team immediately put me at ease. All members of staff at Cardogan Clinic were kind, compassionate, and professional. My existing health conditions and needle phobia were taken into account, and the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and supported. My family was also kept well informed, which was incredibly reassuring. Most importantly, I am delighted with my results. My goal was never to look like a different person. I simply wanted my own nose without the hump, while still maintaining a natural look that suited my face. The result is exactly what I hoped for: subtle, balanced, and natural. People who don’t know me wouldn’t even realise I’ve had surgery, which is exactly the outcome I wanted. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jacques and the entire Cardogan Clinic team to anyone considering septorhinoplasty. Thank you for making what could have been a very overwhelming experience such a positive one.

A Wonderful Experience at the Fitzrovia Suite We had a wonderful experience at the Fitzrovia Suite, and so much of that was down to the incredible midwives who looked after us and our baby. There are so many midwives who made a real difference during our stay — Amy, Lucy, Charlie, Teresa and Adwah are just a few who immediately come to mind. They were all incredibly professional, kind, attentive and, most importantly, genuinely listened to us and understood what we needed as new parents. Amy was absolutely amazing. She really bonded with us and went above and beyond in supporting me, particularly with lactation and breastfeeding. Her patience, encouragement and practical support helped me enormously at a time when I was still finding my feet. I will always remember how cared for and supported she made me feel. The midwives also looked after our baby so thoughtfully, giving us the opportunity to get some much-needed rest while knowing that our little one was in safe and caring hands. That support was invaluable during those early days. They never made us feel like we were asking too much, and they were always willing to answer questions, reassure us and support us without judgement. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, which made the overall experience very positive. The one area I feel could be improved is the food and catering service. The quality and choice of food could be better, and I felt the catering team could perhaps be more aware of the needs and routines of new parents. At times, it wasn't always clear when someone would come to take food orders, particularly when you are recovering from delivery, trying to feed a newborn and catching up on much-needed sleep. A clearer ordering system or more flexible approach to taking orders could make a big difference. Overall, though, we are incredibly grateful for the care we received at the Fitzrovia Suite. The midwives were the heart of our experience. Their professionalism, compassion and willingness to support both us and our baby made what could have been an overwhelming time feel much more reassuring and manageable. A huge thank you to everyone who cared for us — particularly Amy, Lucy, Charlie, Teresa and Adwah. We will always remember the kindness you showed our little family during such a special and important time in our lives.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so kind, warm and reassuring, which made such a difference because I was extremely nervous about having my procedure. I only remember one of the nurses by name, Claire (without an “i”!), and she was absolutely lovely. She made me feel so at ease throughout the whole experience. We even realised we shared the same birthday, which was such a lovely little moment and made me feel even more comfortable. I actually called the hospital on a bank holiday afterwards because I had some questions about my compression stockings, and Claire recognised my voice straight away, which I thought was so lovely. She took the time to listen to me, gave me really helpful advice and made me feel safe and reassured even after I had already gone home. All of the other nurses, particularly the recovery nurses and the staff who looked after me when I woke up, were also incredibly kind and caring. I unfortunately can’t remember the anaesthetist’s name, but he was wonderful. I was very nervous going into the procedure, and although I tried my best to hide it, he could clearly tell! He was really reassuring and gave me some medication to help with my anxiety, which I really appreciated. Everyone was also very kind to my partner, which meant a lot to me. They made both of us feel comfortable and looked after. I think what made the experience particularly special was that this was a very intimate and sensitive procedure, and being treated with such kindness, dignity and respect made a huge difference. I never felt embarrassed, uncomfortable or like I was being rushed through the process. I genuinely felt safe and cared for. Every member of staff I came across was lovely, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better hospital experience. I’m incredibly grateful to the whole team for making what was a very nerve-wracking experience feel as calm and positive as it possibly could!

Mr El Gizawy was recommended to myself through a number of colleagues for his care, professionalism and expertise with complex endometriosis. Mr El Gizawy is very kind, caring and knowledgeable throughout my experience. He presented a range of options to me and clearly outlined the risks and benefits of all the avaliable treatments to myself along with his professional recommendations, at no point during my care did he try to dictate what I should do, simply present me with recommendations based on his years of expertise whilst always valuing my opinion. Preservation of my fertility was an important factor in choosing my treatment and I opted for surgery. Unfortunately I did not have the luxury of medical insurance, as a self care patient Mr El Gizawy did his best to ensure I was informed about costs prior to consenting to treatment an of course reminded me that if at any point cost became too much he would of course see me in on his NHS surgical waitlist. I am now recovering very well from a complex robotic endometriosis excision surgery including a bowel resection. I would thoroughly recommend Mr El-Gizawy to anyone looking for treatment of their endometriosis and any other gynaecological conditions

Hearing that you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer is stressful for anyone. However the best decision I made was to be treated by GenesisCare. From the moment you enter the reception area you are aware of the caring environment and you soon realise that this is replicated throughout the organisation. Yes the diagnostics, technology and equipment are all state of the art, and beyond this there is active attention to the wellbeing and mindset of the patient, and also the benefit of patient fitness to the outcome of the procedures. I underwent a 20 day cycle of radiotherapy mapped out by the excellent oncologist, Henry Taylor, and carried out by a specialist radiotherapy team - a wonderful group of ladies who handled and overcame all the patient pre-session issues with understanding and charm. Be in no doubt that setting up the patient for a consistent and effective treatment each time is not easy (at least in my case!) and they handled the situations with sensitivity and positivity. The team were brilliant.

On 1/9/2026 I attended The Winterbourne Hospital for a varicose vein treatment (radiofrequency ablation to both my long saphenous vein with synchronous phlebectomies). I was extremely satisfied with the treatment and care I received from Mr Alex Watson who was assisted by Jimmy. Everything was explained to me throughout the procedure with attention to how I was feeling, this alleviated any nerves. I was monitored regarding any pain which was managed expertly resulting in very little discomfort. Jimmy played an important role throughout keeping me feeling, comfortable. He had a wonderful nursing bedside manner and I knew he was observing me constantly from a medical perspective but also ready to jump in with kind encouragement or some distracting chat! Post treatment care was explained with a follow up booked for in 6 weeks time but I know I can contact the hospital should I need help or assistance before then. I recommend Mr Alex Watson and his team highly

I had a very positive experience with the whole team. All the staff were extremely kind, caring and supportive throughout my treatment, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. The surgeon was very confident and knowledgeable, and I immediately felt that I was in safe hands. He clearly explained the procedure and gave me confidence in the treatment plan. What I appreciated most was the care after the procedure. He personally called me two weeks later to check how I was doing and to make sure I was recovering well. He took the time to listen to what I had been experiencing and reassured me that everything I was experiencing was normal following the procedure. It is rare to receive such thoughtful follow-up care, and it really made me feel that I was genuinely looked after. I am very grateful to the surgeon and the entire team for their kindness, professionalism and reassurance. I would highly recommend them.

I have attended Spire Murrayfield for both an ENT appointment in April and a gynaecology appointment more recently, and on both occasions my experience has been excellent. Booking appointments was simple, with great availability and convenient appointment times. Every member of staff has been friendly, professional and efficient, from the reception team to the clinical staff who manage patients in the waiting area and take height and weight measurements. During one of my appointments there was a slight delay, but the team kept me informed throughout, which was very much appreciated. The service has always been quick, organised and patient-focused. Although I live closer to Chester, I choose to travel further to attend Spire Murrayfield, the quality of care and overall experience have been so good that I would not want to go anywhere else. I would highly recommend the hospital and its staff.

Having seen Mr Michael previously some years ago for a hip replacement, I was keen to be seen by Mr Michael again. I have now had both hips replaced and the whole experience by Mr Michael and his team was expertly managed. When I unexpectedly had an allergic reaction a few days after hospital discharge, Mr Michael recognised and knew how to treat the issue straight away. I am now happily getting on with everyday life , pain free. I recently went on holiday and cycled over 550 miles, only 3 months after my op. As you can imagine I am delighted. I have previously recommended Mr Michael to a relative, who went under his care for a hip operation too. She too is happily getting on with an active life. Thank you, Mr Michael and also to the whole wonderful team.

After having a mammogram, the result was a bit concerning. A follow up and more tests were required. I have called the Spire Hospital to book an apponintment. They were very accommodating, booking me a next day's appointment with Ms Luther. From the start Ms Luther was very professional in her approach but also very patient, nice and empathetic. She has consulted me and after the test results came back she gave me the great news that everything is fine. She took time to answer all my questions and explain everything thoroughly. Overall, based on my experience, I would highly recommend Ms Alison Luter and her team to anyone who needs specialised medical help and/or advice.

Mr Alwitry is an entertaining and highly professional eye surgeon. He made an accurate assessment of my situation and recommended the best course of action. Procedure went extremely well and outcome was exactly as he predicted. Three months after, I am very happy with my eyesight with perfect distance and intermediate vision with functional near vision and only occasional use of spectacles for reading. Very knowledgeable with friendly and highly professional manner. Enjoyed the brief association and can highly recommend him to anyone looking for improved vision without need for glasses.

I saw Dr Waring regarding pain in my leg from running. He suspected a bone stress injury so referred me for an MRI quickly. He gave me clear guidance on exactly what I should/shouldn’t do and timelines for when I could return to various activities. He referred me for further investigations to see if there was anything causing the injury and again, gave clear guidance. He was great to deal with and I’m going to be back running exactly when he said I would be.
