From my first consultation meeting with Sam I felt at ease. We talked about what I was aiming to achieve in terms of look. She was interested to understand my drive and motivation for having the breast augmentation procedure and I felt this helped her understand me more as a patient. She described the process in simple terms (I did not need to hear the gore) and was clear about the recovery journey after the operation. The measuring consultation came next where various sizes and shapes were explored having viewed links of lots of boobies – so many to choose from. Using implants with a surgical bra was a good indicator of my post-op look but my final results were so much better. On the day of the operation I was reassured to see Sam’s smiling face in the hospital room I had been allocated. She ran through the procedure, timings and completely put me at ease. Post-op I saw Sam the morning after my procedure where she explained how the size we had spoke about were too big for my breast cavity so she opted for the slightly smaller size. This act proved how Sam had fully understood my vision for natural looking breasts, I was truly grateful she had made this decision. I absolutely made the correct decision to have Sam operate on me, my final look is fabulous and so much better than I could have ever imagined. My body confidence has increased massively and I finally, at the age of 53, feel comfortable in my appearance. No cleavage on show, no skimpy low-cut tops, just womanly clothing and self-love for my new look.

Every time I come for an outpatient appt, the specialist is an hour behind time.. the secretary/receptionist should have called ahead of time to expect delays but they don’t!! They leave it till the time of the appt to mention the hefty delay!! Last time I had to leave as I could not wait out an hr delay! So complete waste of my time & money grrr! Something that could easily be rectified with better communication from the clinic!! Including the fact when I had an outpatient procedure, I had a 2.45hrs delay as there was a delay due to an emergency in the morning.. again no contact from the clinic informing me of this delay.. had I been informed earlier before arriving at my appt which was scheduled at 1pm, I didn’t not have the procedure till 3.45!! Had there been communication from your clinic informing me of the delay I would have left home later and not have left the dogs alone for 8hrs due to the clinics inability to keep patients informed of delays!! Grrr! Every single time due to lack of communication I’m left frustrated and angry!

Ms Shikha did my surgery for full hysterectomy. It all went very well my recovery wasn’t that smooth after but soon after I got better with the help of shika and team constantly checking in on me and me being able to reach out. At a very stressful time. I haven’t really got words that praise shika enough. Her efforts for diognoses and the care since have been priceless. Already (and only a little after a week) I am seeing life changing results , having suffered 27 years day in day out. Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

It was a really welcoming and professsional. Ms Ray was very friendly and welcoming. She put my daughter as ease. There was a slight confusion with the xray as my daughter didn’t realise she was meant to drop the form round to the x Ray department so we were waiting in the main reception for a while before I asked how long it would be. However it was quick to get the xray and bloods. My only issue was the parking. There were so many areas for consultants, disabled, oncology, staff, which is understandable but it meant we had to drive around 3 times to find a space.

All members of the team are friendly and welcoming. They have personality and engage with patients. Everything appears to be well organised and runs smoothly. The clinic is clean and fresh. All instructions/requests are explained in a helpful clear manner and staff are attentive and go the extra mile. All staff impress as being very caring. During a recent stay for surgery, everyone with whom I came into contact was very kind and helpful. I felt like I was in very safe hands.

Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to consider allowing patients to complete any required forms online in advance of their appointment. Being asked to fill out paper forms upon arrival—particularly after having already completed information online—feels a little outdated and could be streamlined for greater convenience.

Mr Eid is very professional and amazing at helping his patients get the right care, I went in with excruciating pain in my shoulder, Mr Eid gave me quick treatment and followed up with xray and scan to find out the reason for pain enduting full disgnosis. I would be still in pain if I were waiting for NHS GP to sort the pain. Thank you Mr Eid..
