Mr Charlie Huins

My appointment with Charlie was something I had been dreading. I’ve been suffering with symptoms for over a year and after seeing so many specialists I thought it would be another dead end road. Charlie was so wonderful right from the start, he listened to me, when I explained my symptoms and the impact they are having on my daily life he was understanding and explained what possible causes might be. He did several little examinations and explained as well as showed me what he could see. My appointment with Charlie has given me a little hope that I’m finally going to get some answers to my symptoms. Charlie was a very kind and caring specialist. Thank you Charlie for treating me with kindness and for taking the time to listen to me and my long journey with my symptoms. We need more Charlie’s in our world 🥹

Oh what an absolute pleasure meeting Mr Charlie Huins. The minute we walked in we felt at ease and comfortable! I explained everything to Charlie what had been going on and he was so extremely knowledgeable and clear with all his explanations. Mr Huins was welcoming and professional. I felt very much at ease by virtue of the explanation of the tests he planned to carry out for what I suspected was eustachian tube dysfunction. The extent to which I was listened to far surpassed my experience with other consultants. Mr Huins was very knowledgeable and also satisfied my curiosity via clear answers to my questions. Charlie was very personable, polite and patient. He listened very attentively to my symptoms, asked many follow questions and the performed a series of tests to establish next steps. Took me through the concerns and next steps slowly and clearly. His manner was open, kind. He exuded a calm demeanour and put me at ease straightaway.

I was put at ease immediately. Mr Huins was professional and friendly - I did not feel rushed and was given plenty of time to explain my concerns. I felt I was listened to and after a thorough examination, I was given advice on the next steps and options.
